Men Who Wear PINK...Turn ON or Turn OFF?

Listen up boys...on the contrary to your popular beliefs, pink is back in fashion! There’s nothing girlie or homosexual about wearing a pink shirt or a pink tie. In fact, this little diamond in the rough fashion tip might just help you impress the right kind of woman. What is so great about wearing pink? Everything...Women want their men to be macho, but what they don’t tell you is they want that macho man to have an extremely sensitive side. What better way to show your sensitive side than opting for a soft shade of pink, or hot pink for your next night out on the town? As for me I have no problem stating what I want or do not want in a man.Pink is such a TURN ON!

There is something alluring about pink. Maybe that’s because psychologically it is known to have a calming effect. Or maybe it’s because pink is complimentary to most skin tones, unless you already have a lot of pink tone in your skin (like me). Or maybe it’s because a man who wears pink exudes confidence, yet is sensitive. It could be as simple as the fact that pink is easy to coordinate with almost every color in your wardrobe--it goes amazingly well with greys, tans, black, navys and other blues tones. And lastly, if you're still not convinced how great pink is, women love pink and are more likely to give you a second glance. So give pink a try if you haven’t already. I have outlined four ways you can incorporate this magical color into your wardrobe.

Sweaters
Try wearing a pink crew-neck cashmere sweater with dark trousers, and I must say it is such a sexy look.Yum! It proves how something as classic and simple as a pink sweater can be show stopper.

Dress Shirts
Pink dress shirts are one of the easiest ways to incorporate pink into your wardrobe. They are easily worn with suits, under sweaters or on their own with trousers or jeans.Men get many compliments whenever they wear pink because it breathes new life into their suits and makes them look more distinguished. It’s a winning look!

Suits and Trousers
Spring and summer would be the time to wear pink suits and trousers. I know you may be having a hard time visualizing this, but when I say suits and trousers I mean seersucker or light cotton. It’s the perfect thing to wear at a summer wedding or party.

Accessories and T-shirts
If you can’t commit to a more substantial item in pink, start small. Ties, t-shirts, hats or a scarf with pink stripes would be the way to go. Gone are the days when the pink shirt was considered the yuppie 80’s investment bankers shirt of choice; pink is the straight guys secret weapon when it comes to attracting the increasingly fashion-savvy female population.Okay, how do you pull off wearing a pink shirt? Pink ties are normal. Even pink socks make an appearance.Even the idea that pink is a color particularly associated with homosexuality doesn't bear out.Gay men don't actually appear to feel the need to stress that side of themselves in their dress. Certain tailors, have been associated with the use of flamboyant colors such as hot pink. I say wear pink and look handsome! You will definitely stand out amongst your peers. Just remember,...when it comes to pink shirts, you don’t want to be too overkill. Remember, less is more.

Personally, I LOVE a man who can pull off wearing a pink tie, especially if he is humble enough to wear it just for me. Many men would say 'hell no' but I hope that the man that gets to know me will say 'hell yes' if he knows that it will make me happy! Pink is a great confidence color, and is very striking! I agree any man who doesn't feel he can pull it off, isn't a real man inside and out. Did you know that 9 out of 10 women don't like a men wearing pink shirts, and that only 1 out of 10 would actually wear one for a woman if she asked? Where is my one in a million man who would wear this pink tie for me with no questions asked? Find me this man and I will be a very content woman.
Colors that are traditionally considered masculine colors or that appeal most strongly to or are more closely associated with men can be good choices for marketing messages, Web sites, and interior designs targeting men. Color studies done over the years indicate that the favorite colors of men and women do differ in many ways. Some of these differences in favorite colors may be attributed to cultural use of color and conditioning. Although there are no hard and fast rules about what colors are masculine or feminine or gender-neutral. Colors come in many tints and shades, some men may love  rich, bright and vibrant colors, while others may very well like a softer shade. I say that it takes a real man to pull this color off and my hat is off to him if he can look sexy in this particular color.
