So, what is the true definition of a "gold digger?" Many wonder this, and although we've talked about this before, someone asked me to define it again.....so here goes......The modern definition of a gold digger is a woman who associates with or marries a rich man in order to get valuables from him through gifts or a divorce settlement. Money hungry whore is a better name., but lets be nice and keep it PG material.
The gold digger scenario is not a relationship, per say. Her age could be young or older. It is a one sided affair specifically generated by the female to snare the rich male, to fleece him of his wealth for her own. As long as there are women in the world, a proportion of them will be strictly out for themselves. They want, want want and thy probably won't stop until they get it. They have no feelings emotionally so to speak for the man......actually, they couldn’t care less for the man, as long as he showers her with wealth and gifts, and wouldn’t hesitate to leave him the minute she gets cut off. She sees the man as a male walking ATM machine, and what’s in it for her. So so wrong....
So you wanna be a "sugar baby?" Prepare to enter the world of money, and sugar daddies. Beware before you do: Make certain that you know the true understanding of what one is and how this works.This is a mutual relationship between a rich older man and a woman, usually a younger woman at that. The term sugar daddy is a modern variant of the word daddy. Daddy describing the age difference between the couple, and prefacing it with sugar, which is the gifts given. Hence the name, Sugar daddy! So, the modern definition of sugar daddy is that of a wealthy, usually older man who gives expensive gifts to someone much younger in return for companionship or sexual favors. However, not all men want sexual favors, in fact I know plenty who are just lonely and want companionship....someone to dine with, or to go to the theatre with, etc. It is not always about the sex.
The biggest difference between a gold digger “relationship” and that of a sugar daddy/sugar baby is that, in the sugar daddy relationship, it is mutually beneficial to both parties concerned. The usually older man has wealth, and affluence which affords him all the luxuries, that life has to offer. A very attractive thing for a younger woman to experience. But sugar daddies have discriminating tastes. They will not be seen with a plain, ordinary, or below average girl. The sugar babe is almost always a young knockout, his eye and arm candy?...Would that be your guess? Probably what you are thinking,...but... Not always....not true. There are many quite smart and sexy younger ladies who know how this works.....then there are some beautiful younger women are looks smart but they couldn't tell you who was the governor or what countries are in war. Her idea of the news is celebrity news on E! Wouldn't you prefer CNN or FOX News? Sure...she will always turn heads in a crowd, but lets hope that she doesn't open her mouth unless she knows how to speak the language. If you are going to pay her good money to be on your arm, make sure she has somewhat of an education as well as knowing how to converse. Then there is the older pretty mature woman who also seeks the lavish lifestyle, and is usually of higher maintenance than a male her age could ever afford, but has her act together and is looking for assistance, and companionship.They have a unique, mutually beneficial relationship, one in which both sides know their roles, and in which they are both happy! In the true sugar daddy lifestyle, it is a totally win-win situation, as opposed to the gold digger who is interested in only herself and trying to find the means to fast cash and certainly not caring who she hurts along the way.
