Flirting and Body Language...What's is a Woman Telling You?

There are times when we meet a man or see him from a distance and feel attracted or connected....We tend to wear our emotions at times on our sleeve as one might say nonetheless, we find it upsetting when we can not figure out what a man is trying to say with his body or gestures. The indirectness of a man's affection may mislead a woman into thinking he has no attraction for her. That couldn't be more true according to the latest statistics. Men are not as sharp on their feet when it comes to emotions, reading their thoughts and testing the waters...we women on the other hand have this one noted 'hands down!' You see, men, unlike women don't have the flirting skills critiqued. We can flirt with hand gestures or by simply using our eyes. Takes notes here guys; these are some very important tips to learn and remember about women.

There are many ways that we flirt; We do so by playing or twirling with our hair...it's a sign of being nervous or some call it playful arousalHow about 'the closer look' signal? Don't know what that is? It's the look you get when she tugs on her sunglasses and gives you the 'come hither' look....This is commonly known as the 'you took my breath away' glance. Then there's the shoe dangling...it's the shoe is half off it means that she likes you and is comfortable being around you, well enough to begin letting her guard that is, and as we all know, most women do have a protected guard of some sort.

It's all in the hand movement fellas, so pay close attention please! How about when a women does the glamour pose? It's when she arches her back pushing her breasts forward and wither playing with her hair or issuing some pretty sensual body gestures. Lick the lips...OH BROTHER...are you in trouble now. This means that if a woman places her tongue at the side of her lip gently moving it across the lips in a soft sensual position you are being sought out!

Look at her eyes; my grandmother used to tell me that the 'eyes' tell it all and 'Ay Caramba' was she right on the money! Did you know that if a woman's pupils are dilated that it means she is sexually aroused by you.
The hair toss, the lip nibble, the 'tilt and smile' and the stroking of her skin or touching body parts, and the famous 'knee pointing.' If a woman likes you she will cross her legs and face them toward you. This means she likes you and is comfy with you, if they are faced away from you or outwards, it may not be a good sign guys. Plus the more leg exposed, the more sexual feeling.

Many wonder what is the number one suggestion of flirting? Her smile...When a woman has an interest in you, her smile can hold your attention from across a crowded room and it is definitely one of the major signs she's flirting. It can take a little effort on her part to do so, you see, we gals never jump the gun too quickly when it comes time to a little 'romance' ...so if she’s exerting this kind of effort, engage in her flirting by returning the smile. So what's a fella to do? Pay attention, sharpen your own flirting skills and learn to read her body language!

Men, Body Language and First Impressions

Men try to make a great first impression but most often, they fall short and it turns out all wrong. Is it what they say or what they do that turns the perfect moment into a complete nightmare? Truth be told, an awful lot of men focus on exactly what they’ll say to a woman when they approach. They wonder why they can use a line and get blown off, while another man can show up three minutes later, use the same line, and get her to go out with him. Some say that men are harder to decipher than ancient hieroglyphics. Not really...it's all in the body language, so pay attention!

Watch his eyes girls! You will be able to tell what he's feeling just by looking into them.Watch a man's eyes for an indication of his interest. Men's eyes tend to roam around when they are looking for an available female. When they catch what they believe is a positive response, their eyes widen and they may wink or smile and hold a stare. Men's pupils tend to dilate when they see someone or something that interests them. If he makes direct eye contact and holds your gaze, he is trying to show that he's interested. If he avoids eye contact completely, he is either trying to avoid you or he is feeling intimidated by you. A quick wink or frequent blinking both indicate interest and a desire to get to know the other person better.

The truth is that when you approach a woman, she’s evaluating you before you even say a word. Notice his stance as you look to decipher male body language. It isn’t so much what you say, but in the split second that she first sees you and forms her first impression of you, she has already subconsciously decided whether or not to give you a chance. It shows in your style, and your confidence.

She is watching you from a distance and waiting to see what type approach you will have, so make sure that you have your act together. Now is the time to be confident and as Madonna would say; "Strike a Pose." She wants to see positive assertion, not a shy guy afraid to step up to the plate and kick it up a notch. Now is the time to take a risk and get her attention. Sometimes you only have one chance, so make it count!Watch for negative male body language signals such as lack of eye contact, poor posture, hiding of the hands, mumbling, stuttering, mispronunciation, extraneous body movements and darting eyes. These gestures indicate that he is either insecure, uninterested, bored, keeping something from you, lying to you or he's nervous. Negative male body language is basically a sign that he is anxious to get away for some reason. If you feel that he is nervous, try to make him feel more at ease by shifting attention away from yourself.

Sure it takes a lot of work to undo a first impression if it is all wrong. The good news is that her first impression of you depends on how you behave. If you behave in a way that’s reassuring, calm, and confident, she’s going to be much more open to the idea of dating you. On the contrary to all that macho crap your guy friends talk to you about, we ladies like the soft sweet man with a sensative side.

If you behave as if you aren’t sure you should be talking to her, she might not think you should be, either. Hey, you have the same chance as the next guy so make this time matter so if you find the woman that you really wish to impress, make the moment matter. There are also some behaviors that will cause women to immediately lose interest in you, and others that will catch her attention. It's all about your body language and let me tell you...we can read you a mile away. Yup, that's right. You don't have to do a darn thing, we watch and observe. Nothing speaks louder than ones body language.
Body language can communicate that you are nervous or desperate, or it can communicate that you are confident and secure. Your posture may be accidentally telling women that you aren’t interested in a girlfriend now. Or, worse, you may be coming across as creepy, arrogant, or antisocial. You might think that’s a little silly, but remember that women’s brains work differently than yours. Women are highly attuned to both verbal and nonverbal language. Listen fellas...to a woman, it really matters if you stand up straight – it says something important about you. It also really matters if you approach her head on, from the side, or from behind. When she meets you, she creates an idea of you.

What you seem like to her determines the way she’s going to act toward you. Body language goes both ways. You can learn to read her behavior to see if she’s noticed you yet, if she’s interested, and if she’s likely to be friendly when you introduce yourself. On a date, you’ll be able to tell if she’s comfortable with you. Reading her cues will make you seem smarter and more in tune with her needs. She’ll feel that you’re really listening to her and that she’s important to you. That will make you more important to her, and you’re well on your way to a great relationship.

The Key to a Great Sex Life

As George Michael once sang..."Let's Talk About Sex"...and what a hot topic that is! Those three letters 'S-E-X' are the most erotic, intoxicating, sensual words on the planet...BUT if you don't know how to use them correctly (and I don't mean directly under the sheets) you won't have a snowballs chance in hell to land the man or woman of your dreams. If you want a great sex life, there is one thing that is absolutely essential. It's not having a super-toned body or being naturally blonde. It's not having big boobs, a hot ass, a six figure salary or owning a fancy imported car. No, the essential element is conversation.

So you might ask, "who needs all this chit-chat when you're making love with an attractive guy or gal?" Ummm...this is essential folks, so PAY ATTENTION! Well, let me rephrase that for a minute...If you're just having a short fling, you may be able to get away with little or no conversation, that's a given, why talk, he/she means nothing to you really... But if you want to keep your love life passionate and exciting making it long term, you're going to have to start talking more and getting to the core of what each of you truly wants. I wrote about this topic before, but some of you must have fallen off the turnip truck and hit your nugget too hard on the pavement because you're still not getting it? Not to worry my friends...you'll be fine.

Here are three ways to use conversation to improve and sustain your sex life as well as your love life;

Communicate about what you want from your partner...In better terms; "Speak Up and Spit It Out!"

Hey listen, don't be shy...now's not the time. He has seen you from head to toe and everywhere in between, so please, spare me the 'I"m old fashion' story. You can talk, talk talk, but that doesn't always necessarily mean that you are communicating. You can talk until you are blue in the face...Now, body language on the other hand is fair play and it gets the point across much faster. Your lover can't read your mind any more than you can read hers (or his). Giving non-verbal communication in the bedroom is helpful, eye catching and alluring. If that still isn't getting you what you want, it's time to try putting your desires into words and as Madonna sang "Express Yourself!"

This is where you put phase 2 into action. Always bring along a can of Reddi Whip. Turn a nervous night into a positive spin...who doesn't like a 'body sundae?' No need to talk, just use your lips and tongue. Now they know what you want, but finding out what your partner wants is equally important. If you're a guy who's a little confused about how to please your lady, the answer is simple. The best way to find out what a woman wants is to ask her. Crazy huh? It works really it does. Many women (and quite a few men) are just dying to talk about their fantasies and desires. All they need is a sincere invitation to open up, and you can offer that. If you are still having a difficult time, and the words just don't seem to be flowing, use what God gave you, your natural instincts and talk with your body.

Spice up lovemaking with some hot topic conversation

No, this isn't a suggestion to discuss the latest stock drops on Wall Street, ESPN News, or which famous celebrity was spotted on the strip. However, a little naughty and explicit sex talk while you are making love can add a new dimension of excitement. Not sure how to start? Begin by describing how gorgeous your partner's body is and how aroused you are getting. Talk about what you're doing, what you're about to do, and how it's going to make your partner feel. Even if you don't normally use explicit language, this may be the time to get a bit naughty. Relax and shed those inhibitions. It would certainly help if you were wearing our lingerie from Simply Delicious Lingerie, or Simply Luscious Lingerie, all affordable, sexy lingerie, bridal lingerie, honeymoon lingerie, sexy matching sets, bra & thong sets, babydolls, teddies, chemises, stockings and garters...we sell it all from $9.99 - $29.99, check out our online boutiques.

Give your partner some positive feedback

If there's one thing we all love, it's a sincere compliment. It attributes to our attitude and our self-esteem. No one, and I mean no one wants to hear what they did wrong in bed, or how disappointing they were...so have a heart and be nice. Remember, if it was disappointing...that means that it wasn't just one of you, it was both of you that made it as such. Communication is key and without how will you know what the other wants in bed? Many people are a little insecure about their sexual abilities and they secretly wonder if they are good enough in bed? Make a point of telling your partner how exciting and skillful he or she was last night. Telling them that they were a 'hot piece of ass' is not romantic and intriguing to a woman, so lose that and try also to mention something specific they did and how great it made you feel. Remember, you need not make a big deal about it. Even a few whispered words just before you leave for work will keep your partner glowing with pleasure all day long.

If you're already doing some of these things, great! But if it's never occurred to you that conversation is essential for a great sex life, you may be surprised at how much of a difference just a few words can make. When you communicate about what you want, talk naughty at appropriate moments, and praise your partner's skill and desirability, you'll find that the payoff is much more than you could have imagined. If you really want to turn up the heat, check out our Delicious Deals where we sell a variety of adult sex swings that will give you and your partner hours of pleasure. http://www.simplydeliciouslingerie.com/sex-swing-whip-smart-pleasure-swing

Isn't it time that you took your love life as well as your sex life to the next level? Always remember that “We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love.” Communication...it is the key to a great sex life!

What Women are Saying..."Body Language"

Do you know what your partner, friend, lover, spouse, girlfriend is really saying to you? Let's face it, hands down...men and women are very distinct creatures and we function completely different. While men have a tendency to be straightforward, and call it like they see it (so to speak) women are often not so simple,... NOT AT ALL! Unlike men, women often uses hints and insinuations to steer you in their direction, and when trying to understand what they really mean, you are sometimes better off reading between the lines. We use our body language to do all the talking for us most of the time, and guess what? It works. Guys this is for all of you who don't have a woman's sighs and 'key' statements down yet, and you aren't reading her 'body language' here are some tips for you....

The following cheat sheet will help you learn how to really listen to your woman and piece together  what she says and what she really  means.

1. "Fine."
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right. (and they ARE RIGHT!)

2. "Just give me five minutes."
If she is getting dressed, this means 30 minutes....so back off already and 'let me get dressed in peace'

3. "Where is our relationship going?"

What she means is that she would like for you to suggest the idea of the two of you to graduating to a more serious and exclusive relationship.

4. "Nothing."
This word ALWAYS means something, and you should ALWAYS be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "Nothing" usually end with "Fine."

5. "Go ahead."
This is by no means a woman giving her permission for you to do something, ohhhh no-it's a dare. Whatever it is, remember you are doing it at your own risk!

6. "Loud sigh."
This is a non-verbal statement that means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time arguing with you about nothing at all.

7. "That’s okay."
This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. It means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

8. "A guy was flirting with me."
She wants you to know that other men are interested in her and that you should appreciate what you have. This is by no means at all a threat to you...it just means that she wants you to know that someone else noticed her.

9. "You know me so well."
It means that she's starting to feel the L-word, but she doesn't want to be the first one to say it.

10. "Don’t Worry About It, I Got It."
Another very dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a she has asked you to do several times, but is now doing it herself since you've neglected it. This will later result in you asking “What's wrong?”

Do You Listen?

Do you listen when people talk or do you just want to stick your fingers in your ears and not listen at all? We need to listen better whether it be in our personal lives or our professional lives. Did you know that with all the sales training and various techniques to get better at your job that are offered out there, 85% of the time people still continue to overlook the simplest thing to execute, and that is the "art of listening!" You need to really focus and pay attention! No time for daydreaming so take the ear plugs out and really pay attention to your friends, your kids, your spouse, partner, mate, lover, mistress, coworkers, boss,...WHO EVER it is for goodness sakes LISTEN!

Besides it is quite rude when you don't, especially if someone calls you out on it. Hello, welcome to my life, where my kids call me sometimes and I am in the middle of a blog article, entering orders, or reading emails from my shipping warehouses and they get so angry with me. Why? I'm tuning out what they are saying to finish what it was that I was doing when the called me.I am distracted by others around me or whatever it is that I am doing that makes them realize that I 'm not paying attention. There are times where my daughter will then say "Mother, what did I just say?" If I'm lucky I get at least half of it right, but quite honestly, I am ashamed that I missed most of the conversation.

No, this does not happen all the time but it does and both my son and daughter make light of it by telling me how terrible it truly it is. Sometimes they'll say, I have to go now. Guilt then eats away at me and I think to myself, 'tune out what your doing Michele and focus on them for a few minutes and their needs.' They may be seeking your advice or want your honest reaction to something and if you haven't a clue what they just said, chances are they won't come to you again for advice or your opinion. This isn't just something we do with out kids, it happens often with anyone that tries to pop our bubble while we are in the middle of something, or lost somewhere in deep thought!

Yes, communication is key, I say that day in and day out...so then why do we tend to tune things or people out when they are speaking? It's not all about me, me, me,...in fact, I don't talk personally about myself often at all. It's all family, or work. Just so that you know,...I am working harder now to be more alert and pay more attention to what my family says to me. Sometimes though, I am off far away and into some pretty deep thought and it all goes over my head, or as some would say, "in on ear and out the other!" So what do I suggest? Well what I have learned from my children is that listening carefully is the route to take! Pay attention to their wants and needs. Nothing in life is so important that you can't set it aside for 5 minutes.

Did you know that a  good listener attracts more clients and closes more sales than talking constantly about anything to do with you or the service you offer.Yup it sure does!  However, unfortunately, the typical sales person always has something more to say and a difficult time closing their yap. With practice, it's possible ... I know...I'm still learning. Now that I have my businesses, I do listen to others much better. My grandmother used to always say "Michele, keep your ears open and your mouth shut!" Remember the smallest details can be the key factors in stealing a major account from someone, or getting that raise/promotion that you've wanted for so long. So how exactly do you improve your skills by simply listening?

  • Listen with your eyes as well as your ears. Use your eyes and ears to show interest in your discussions with prospects. While listening carefully, your eyes can detect body language that can communicate information about what the person is saying and thinking.
  • Don't "overpower" prospects. You will meet prospects that you know you can win over with your intelligence, charisma, and confidence. If you treat these prospects with condescension because you know immediately they are within your grasp you will overpower and lose them. To truly listen to a timid or meek prospect, make the prospect feel vital, happy, and comfortable! This makes it a win/win situation!
  • Don't argue with prospects. If a prospect makes a statement that you strongly disagree with, do not get into an argument or a cat fight over it, please!!! Diplomatically and respectfully discuss your opinion. Your sincere respect for his or her point of view will build a deeper  admiration and loyalty. Your purpose is to encourage your prospect to speak freely and opening… making you a friend and confidant.
  • Never "dis" the competition. You heard me, don't knock them! Remember that your prospects might be good listeners too. If you speak negatively about others, prospects may be uncomfortable giving you information about themselves. That makes sense right? So please, do avoid attacking others to raise your status. This tactic only makes you look petty, lacking in confidence in your own skills, and will most certainly backfire on you somewhere down the line.
  • Listen to them more! Let them do the talking. It's not all about YOU, so shut up and listen! Be attentive and alert. No dreaming away in la-la land because chances are, they're going to ask you for your advice or opinion and you'll look like a moron if you have no clue what to say because you had your head up your ass and we're paying attention! Listen to every requirement, objection, and make note of as much personal information as possible. The only time you should monopolize the discussion is when you're sure you have what they are looking for… and even that discussion should involve questions and answers from the prospect.
As you can see, listening does not simply mean keeping your mouth shut. If this were the case, I would be in very big trouble! The true value in listening is what you learn, in addition to making your prospect feel like they are being "heard."Listen, interpret, and display understanding. Concentrate on your prospect's tone, inflection, body language, and breathing. With these clues, you'll better understand the prospect, the needs, the wants, and how you can satisfy that need.Your friends, kids, spouses, mates, lovers, mistresses and coworkers will be grateful indeed!

Understanding Body Language in Relationships

I wrote an article on this topic not long ago, but after several comments and emails to me I decided to get a little more to the true detail and traits of real body language. So what it is you exactly? Body language is the meaning behind the words or the “unspoken” language. My grandmother used to say that you can tell what a person is thinking without them ever having to open their mouth. She was such a smart lady. Reading the language of ones body movements, and facial expressions tells the true story.

Surprisingly, studies show that only up to an estimated 10 percent of our communication is only verbal. Honestly, that percentage doesn't at all surprise me. The majority of the rest of communication is unspoken. This unspoken language isn’t rocket science. However, there are some generalizations or basic interpretations that can be applied to help with the understanding or translating of these unspoken meanings. Here are some basics below.

Smile - People like warm smiles. Think of a heartfelt warm-fussy, maybe your favorite pet, and smile!

Eyes -I say this is the MOST important sign in great communication. If you don’t look someone in the eyes while speaking, this can be interpreted as dishonesty or hiding something. Big red flag! Likewise, shifting eye movement or rapid changing of focus/direction can translate similarly. If more than one person is present in a group, look each person in the eye as you speak, slowly turning to face the next person and acknowledge him or her with eye contact as well. Continue on so that each person has felt your warm, trusting glance. Some suggest beginning with one person and moving clockwise around the group so that no one is missed, and so that you are not darting around, seemingly glaring at people.

Attention Span / Attitude - Other people can tell what type attitude you have by your attention span. If you quickly lose focus of the other person and what is being said, and if your attention span wanders, this shows through and makes you seem disinterested, bored, possibly even uncaring.

Attention Direction - If you sit or stand so that you are blocking another in the party, say someone is behind you, this can be interpreted as rude or thoughtless. So be sure to turn so that everyone is included in the conversation or angle of view, or turn gently, at ease and slowly, while talking, so that everyone is incorporated, recognized and involved in the conversation. Again some suggest the clockwise movement when working a group.

Arms Folded / Legs Crossed - This can be seen as defensive or an end to the conversation. So have arms hang freely or hold a glass of water, a business card or note taking instruments while communicating with others. Be open with open arms. Note: If you need to cross legs, cross at your ankles and not your knees. Sitting tightly folded up says that you are closed to communications.

Head Shaking - This is fairly accurate. If people are shaking their heads while you speak, they are in agreement. If they are shaking, “no,” disagreement reigns in their minds.

Space / Distance - On the whole, people like their own personal body space. Give people room and keep out of their space. Entering to close can be intrusive and viewed as aggressive.

Leaning - Sitting or standing, leaning is viewed as interest. In other words, an interested listener leans toward the speaker.

Note others’ body language - While you are with others, note how their bodies read. If a person suddenly folds his arms across his chest and begins shaking his head “no,” you’ve probably lost him. Might try taking a step back and picking up where the conversation began this turn for the negative and regroup. It’s all about strategic planning, so 'think'... before you 'do!'

Can Men Read the Body Language of Women?

Is She Still Interested In Me?

Women are extremely good at gauging relationships by reading body language. Why? It's what we do best. We speak with our eyes and our hands, we tap our feet and our fingers, we sway our hips and when we do the nod of the head and a half spin, you better run! Women also use very clear signals they give to show their emotions – which is why so many women find it hard to believe their boyfriends had no idea they were upset. Actions really do speak louder than words, but you've got to be able to understand them. Can you understand women by the way they use their body language? Honestly, we make it very easy to see that we are angry, happy, satisfied...it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure us out.

Hey Guys...Practically all women can tell if a man is interested in them... So, Isn’t it time you learned how to tell if a woman is interested in you? The first and most classic sign that a woman is interested in you is when she meets your eyes.
She might smile or not, but if she’s looking at you without looking hostile, you’ve caught her attention, most likely in a good way. The next thing you should do is meet her eyes and smile back.
A woman might also check herself in the mirror, touch her hair, or smooth out her clothes. This is a great sign that she wants to make a good impression on you. She might also throw her shoulders back or roll her hips slightly – that means she thinks you’re good-looking.

If she’s sitting down, she might lean towards you, cock her head to make her neck seem longer, or slowly cross and uncross her legs in front of you. If you’re both sitting down and having a conversation, a woman who is comfortable with you might sit with one leg tucked under her, or might dangle her shoe from the toe of one foot. If she’s looking in your eyes too, there’s no doubt she’s extremely interested. On the other hand, if a woman isn’t interested, her eyes will slide right past you. She may even be polite if you introduce yourself, but she’ll look away as soon as possible.

Women who don’t want to continue a conversation will turn their bodies away from you and might even turn toward the door. Ask my old friends about this one....I used it quite often while out at the clubs. I enjoy people watching, not getting hit on by every sleeze ball in the bar that for some reason thought if he bought me a drink he could take me home. "in his dreams maybe...." so that's when I did the ole "about face"A woman might  might fold her arms, cross her legs and leave them crossed, or move away from you. Most likely, the conversation is a lost cause and you probably ought to move on.

If you’re boring a woman, she might lean away from you and rest her head in her hand, or tap her fingers or her foot. If she’s looking at you blankly, without blinking, she’s zoned out and isn’t paying attention anymore. This is a good time to change the subject, maybe with a compliment and a question like, “That color looks good on you. Is it your favorite color?” or “What’s the best movie you’ve seen lately?” With luck, she’ll shake herself out of it and you’ll get another shot at a conversation.

Learning how to tell if a woman is interested is pretty easy. Women want you to understand them, and they make their body language simple and clear. Learn to read it, and you’ll be able to tell if she likes you, if she’s comfortable with you, and if she’d like to date you – all without saying a word. If you still haven't figured it all out, don't sweat it...BUY THE BOOK!
This is well worth the $10 bucks boys!

Body Language...What is Yours Saying?

Can you read someone simply by viewing their body language? If you cannot, you need to learn the task and seek the "How To's" as this is a great measuring tool to have. Being able to read body language can give your clues as to whether someone has a romantic interest in you or not. By accurately reading their body language you will be able to determine whether or not the other person is feeling comfortable around you and eager to get to know you better.

Understanding body language is also significant because it can ensure that you are not unintentionally sending the wrong messages out to other people. Body language can often be both subtle and subconscious but if you are aware of your body language you can make a conscious effort to make sure that you are sending an accurate message to others with your own body language.

The art of reading body language really isn’t difficult and once you are familiar with a few guidelines you will come to realize that understanding body language is very intuitive. Correctly reading body language will ensure that you don’t miss out on approaching potential partners who are sending you signs that they are interested in pursuing a romance with you.

Did you know that how close a person stands to you can be one of the most important body language clues to whether someone is interested in you romantically or not? Their proximity to you can be directly proportional to their romantic interest in you. In other words the closer they stand to you the more interested they are in you romantically and the farther they stand away from you the less interested they are in pursuing a romance with you. In general the two foot rule applies. This means that if a person does not get closer than two feet to you, they aren’t interested in a romance with you. This distance is significant because a length of two feet is approximately an arms length and standing this far from you makes the other person feel safe that you will not reach out and physically touch them. This subtle use of body language to avoid closeness with you is a clear sign of a lack of romantic interest. Conversely, if the person stands closer to you and within arms reach they are not apprehensive about being touched by you and are sending you a signal that they are interested in you. The intimacy of standing close to someone is a clear body language indication that you have a romantic interest in that person.

Another body language clue that someone is interested in you is that they begin to copy your own body language. This often happens subconsciously but if you notice someone mimicking your behaviors it is a clear sign that they are interested in you. Body positioning can also be a form of body language that can either convey romantic interest or disinterest. When speaking to someone, if their body and particularly their torso is turned towards you and leaning closer to you this is an indication of romantic interest. This body positioning leaves you unguarded and vulnerable which indicates trust in the other person. If this trust were not in existence you would not put yourself in such a vulnerable position and would be more likely to stand with your body turned slightly away from the other person and leaning away from them. Standing in a way that positions your body in an open position towards another person is a clear example of body language that expresses a romantic interest. Here is a great book to read if you are not sure what someones body language is saying....

Tantalize him with "Table Talk!"

body language

Definition

Silent (non-verbal) messages communicated through the sender's body movements, facial expressions, voice tone and loudness, etc. In social psychology, all behavior in presence of another person is considered communication. Also called kinesic communications. See also non verbal communication.

Nonverbal communication is a rapidly flowing back-and-forth process. You send one another signals with gestures, sighs, or eye contact. Successful nonverbal communication depends on emotional self-awareness and an understanding of the cues you’re sending, along with the ability to accurately pick up on the cues others are sending you. Ladies, in short, this means "don't hold back." This requires your full concentration and attention. If you're planning what you’re going to say next, daydreaming, or thinking about something else, you are almost certain to miss nonverbal cues and other subtleties in the conversation, and you'll probably blow the opportunity. Relax and go with the flow.....My advice, shoot from the hip. More often than not, the best romantic displays of affection come from moments where we lose our heads and throw the rules right up into the air. I'm all about taking risks. Life is far to short to wonder, "what if?" When you are with someone and you are both feeling a bit romantic, show him/her. Don't wait, there's no time like the present!

Body language is effective! Not only does it show you have a sense of adventure, it also shows that you can use your imagination. My grandmother used to say that if you could master the art of body language, you could have an entire conversation with someone without having ever had to open your mouth. The eyes have a way of often telling it all. Can you speak with your eyes?  The body has a way of saying "I want you now!" It doesn't matter where you are, if the mood strikes and you want to show them how you feel.....send them a signal. It's contagious, fun, exhilarating, erotic, spontaneous and something he'll be thinking about long afterwards. Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary?
Doesn't this just give "table talk" a whole new meaning?
