Relationship Blues…Where Did ALL of the AFFECTION, FOREPLAY and SEX GO?

My relationship was great until I moved in with him…then the affection and sex pretty much stopped. Does this sound familiar? For many it is a very touchy subject even so, one that needs addressed. In many relationships public affection, kissing, holding hands are common and many women would say that this is not the problem in their relationship, nonetheless some men just don't know how to show affection, or at least not the way a woman would like him to. As for the foreplay and sex, sometimes it only occurs when alcohol is involved and that is usually because your man is relaxed and it comes more easily. Is this normal, that's my question? Sure it's great to have them feeling like the sensual king or queen but you can't get them drunk every night for them to show you some love and express themselves. I believe that sex is like that of a great energy and it needs to be suppressed.  So what is the relevance?

They say that everyone wants that certain level of comfort in their relationship and that includes openness, closeness and physical intimacy. Its in our biological nature to feel that urge for some sort of intimacy. The percentage of couples that can pull off a healthy relationship without any kind of intimacy or affection is quite rare nevertheless it can happen and in these cases it is usually when their upbringing was the same as their now actions. Perhaps their parents did not have a physical relationship and that's the way your partner believes it should be? Sometimes becoming parents causes changes in the depths/levels of intimacy issues. Where you want to be a good parent, you still have to be a lover, boyfriend, girlfriend, mate or partner to one another. hey, I am not a professional but physical intimacy is like the glue of a relationship.

We all dream of eternal love. We want to believe that we've found the right person and that this man/woman is our everything. At this point, they have already won your affection. Some might say that it is natural for sex to die in a relationship because it is a simple way of affection. What about if he/she spend less and less time with their partner? Maybe they go to the gym more, stay at work later, begins attending more happy hours with the staff, more trips to the spa/salon, golfs 5 days/nights out of the week or believes spending time with the boys at the cigar shop is his time and a necessity because it relieves stress? What about your time and your level of stress that your portion of this relationship has endured? What happened to cooking for you, taking you out to dinner or going on a date? Is he falling asleep in a chair 30 minutes after you begin to spend 'us' time together? Has this too diminished and now you find yourself sitting at home by yourself more and more?

In all sincerity, really, how much can one person go with abstinence before they want to jump out of their skin and throw their hands up in disbelief? It leads many people that are used to having strong sexual relationships from previous partners to take a few steps backward and ponder the thoughts now asking themselves "is it me, does he/she not care anymore, or worse, is he/she seeing/sleeping with someone else? It is unbelievable to think that any couple can live on the 'love of one another' alone with no sexual relationship or level of intimacy.

Sex is needed for the existence of any good relationship. I don't think that is really up for discussion. Keep in mind that as women go through forms of menopause, guys middle age also go through something similar called manopause. It causes changes in a mans testosterone levels and they can have less of a sex drive. So, when your mate just cuts you off and rolls over every night making you feel like you have the plague, or pretends like he is sleeping or has a migraine, what do you do? Try to understand, and give him space. He may not get what is happening to him so how are you supposed to even begin to understand what is happening if you are beside yourself from his/her actions? The flip side is that your mate can be falling out of love. Perhaps  they just so accustom to you being around that the desire and mad need for that somewhat kinky 'knock down drag out dirty fun sex' is just no longer necessary because they've already won you and feel that love is enough?

Disappointment, hurt or simply taking one another for granted are the three major reasons why we feel less in a relationship over time. Finances and money issues are a HUGE downer for any relationship as well. Some men/women feel that they need to be making 'x' amount of dollars to maintain a healthy relationship and the need for the fancy cars, big houses, etc become more relevant in their mind. Those things are like their trophies so to speak, whereas myself personally, love is all I'd need and I'd move into a shack if it meant a happier healthier bond. Money makes a man feel superior. He holds himself high upon a pedestal and to others so if things are not going well for him financially, his entire way of living can change and that includes his affection for you.

If you feel that your relationship is lacking the glamour and luster that it once had, if you are a lover and a fighter and stand by your man/woman you may have to begin taking steps backward. Go back to the earlier days when your relationship began and reconstruct it. Trust and communication are key here folks. You either have it or you don't.

Its time to get out of the relationship blues! Add some spark again! If you relationship is worth saving and you are in love but you forgot how to show it…Start dating your honey again, and do romantic things for your partner. Love my friends does not cost a thing! Cook them dinner, give them a massage, draw their bath for them. Go back to the happy days when your relationship was new and less stressful. Grow together again in a physical and intimate way. Do something fun, playful and maybe even a bit risqué. Buy something sexy. Lingerie catches any mans eye if the right piece is worn. It will turn his head and give his libido a boost. Perhaps it is time to show him eye candy? Sexy lingerie such as role play costumes or bedroom or fantasy costumes are playful.

10 OTHER Desirable Eye Candy Traits that Men Notice in Women…Besides Erotic Sensual Lingerie

Ask a man what he find sensual and sexy in a woman other than her wearing a desirable piece of lingerie that hugs her every curve and he may be at a loss for words. Oh, not because he only has undressing her on his mind, rather because there are a combination of things that a man desires in a woman other than simply sex. According to a recent pole that was taken, when a man was asked what he admired most about  a woman the responses were quite surprising to some.

You see, so many women believe that the way to a mans heart is through his pants, meaning nothing more than a sexual relationship. This is far more ladies than just sexual relationships. When things take a bad turn, some women honestly believe that  if they simply have just have sex everything will be better…NO!That may be good and all for some fun and foreplay but what happens when the thrill is gone and the sex is just sex? Is sex enough to hold a relationship together? Absolutely not.

A real woman knows how to captivate a mans heart and his head. My grandmother used to say the sex is the easy part of a relationship, nonetheless relationships are not built on sex alone, and if you think that is what will keep him, you are sadly mistaken.

When a man finds a woman desirable, it's not just the 'eye candy' alone. It's a number of features that are combined together that make the sparks fly and keeps the sizzle in the air. Sure he is undressing her in his mind and his interest is peeked with anticipation wondering what she has on underneath her clothes, but let the mystery unveil itself all in good time. What's the rush? There's no fire.

Build your relationship on something solid and remember that communication is definitely key! I've listed the top 10 below that are super duper eye candy. These traits combined with sensual intimate apparel on a special night will attribute to magic and making memories. When it comes to your delicates though, do shop Simply Delicious Lingerie for super savings on affordable lingerie. Keep in mind; sexy matching sets are our #1 seller. Keep it simple.

Ladies, a man is most certainly spellbound by the eye candy that an enchanting woman displays in sexy erotic lingerie, nonetheless they also love other features of a woman as well. Embrace her alluring and captivating charm, pay close attention to her style as well as her swagger. So gals, what is it that will leave a lasting and most memorable impression, besides the lingerie you choose? Results are in and you might be surprised to see what the diligence of his response is. I wasn't surprised. These in my opinion are the ordinary traits in a woman that she values as elementary, yet he sees them as extraordinary.

1) Confidence
2) Sex Appeal
3) Sexy Heels
4) Her Curves
5) Her Attitude
6) Her Reading Glasses
7) Her Smile and Laughter
8) Her Sense of Humor
9) Her Intelligence…and last, but certainly not least;
10) The R-E-S-P-E-C-T she has for herself.

COMMUNICATION is KEY in RELATIONSHIPS

Lack of communication in my book IS the BEGINNING OF THE END.
That’s really not surprising really...is it? Think about it....you share everything with this person, then one day you just stop talking freely and you start talking to your sister, or friend about issues in your relationship that really are no ones business but yours. It's no ones business to hear your personal woes. There is also a possibility that what you may be telling this person in confidence is being repeated for others to hear. Not nice...not good, and certainly not cool. Don Henley sang it best; Dirty little secrets...Dirty little lies...We got our dirty little fingers in everybody's pie...We love to cut you down to size....We love dirty laundry. Don't air yours in public. Relationships are like a bicycle...built for 2. You and the other person, not everyone else in timbuktu!

Good communication skills take lot's of practice. Remember, you’re communicating even though you may not be talking. Your body language and actions can speak volumes about what you like and dislike. Facial expressions say a lot too. Do you still smile at your spouse? Some spouses are afraid to smile or be too nice for fear of being asked to do something they don’t want to do. If that’s your attitude, maybe it’s time to talk. What ever you do, don'[t roll your eyes. It's rude, and so ignorant. It is also belittling YOU not the other person involved. If you’re not happy with your relationship be honest about it and seek a solution. Stop beating a dead horse and fix it. Solutions usually begin at the bargaining table where both parties are willing to negotiate and come up with a solution both can live with.

Find a good and convenient time to communicate. If either of you has a pressing project that needs to be completed or an upcoming appointment, then agree to a more convenient time. At least you’ve made the effort and the cards are on the table. Don’t trap your spouse in a situation where they must listen such as driving to visit the in laws. You may not be in a good mood when you arrive if this happens.

Be guarded...when suggesting a talk is necessary. Don’t be demanding but suggest you’d like discuss something that hasn
t be talked about in a while. Set a time to talk. Never good to throw something out there and not be able to fully get into the conversation in depth. Make time. This gives both of you time to organize your thoughts. It’s not good to come to the table unprepared wither, so for goodness sakes, gather all of your thoughts. Know what you’re unhappy with and how you’d suggest the problem be solved.

Once you’re talking, be a good listener. Listening is as important as talking. remember this is a two sided conversation and you are not the center of the universe, so if you think that you are, come down off your 'high horse' as my grandmother used to say and be reasonable for heaven sakes! If your spouse is not as good at communicating as you then compensate. Repeat what they’ve said by commenting something like “Here’s what I think you’re trying to say.” Don’t talk down to your spouse and make them feel inadequate. Both opinions are equally important.

No time for distractions when talking...if the radio or TV are going, turn them off...and certainly do not try to have a conversation when the kids are present. Bringing up a problem during dinner is not appropriate. That would qualify as trapping your partner and problem ruin both your appetites. Your attention must be undivided and you must make eye contact. Allow enough time for a complete discussion.

Strive for a solution but if one is not reached, reschedule a time to continue. Never get angry, and don’t give up. Remember, Rome wasn't built over night. Relationship disasters don't just happen. Something made this happen so figure out what to do to fix...or decide if it is worth fixing? When you stop communicating, then you have big problems. As long as you can discuss things, even if they are painful, you are keeping the lines of communication open and that is healthy for a good relationship. Trust me, I know this oh too well.

Remember it's not all about YOU. If your conversation is a more so private topic...where others may be involved... don't shout your dirty laundry from the roof tops... there’s another world besides yours and you must exist in both. Compromise is always a good choice. If you’re wrong, take responsibility and change. If no solution is apparent, professional help may be needed to assist you. Communication will not solve all of your problems but it’s a good beginning to find to get some resolution. Make the time!

The Ice Breakers Men Use on Women...Do They Work?

It’s never a really good idea to walk up to a woman and say, “Do you believe in love at first sight or should I want by you again?"...or,...."Are you tired...because you’ve been running through my mind all day".......or how about this cheesy one liner...."Are you a parking ticket because you have FINE written all over you!" OK fellas, STOP...openers like that are sure to make your intended target run real fast in the opposite direction, not to mention they'll think that you are a loser at best, so for goodness sakes, THINK before you open the yap!

If these cheesy lines do not work, which I can tell you right now, 98% of the time, THEY WON'T...what does work? What do you say as your opening line, and how can you say it so that you don’t come off as a total idiot? First, don’t pre-plan your icebreakers...if you do, you're bound to screw up totally! They’ll sound forced and your potential date will not be impressed whatsoever. Do stay away from anything cheesy and even the over-used, “Don’t I know you from somewhere?” There are better ways to break the ice and get a conversation started. Think about what you are going to say, and make it good,...for you know that famous saying..."Sometimes you only get ONE CHANCE!"

Give a sincere compliment

It's no secret that women enjoy compliments. However, they can always detect when the compliment is an insincere one. No matter the situation, you should always be able to find something unique and legitimate to flatter your target with. It may be risque or a more tame form of praise, depending on her body language toward you. This is KEY, so pay attention! Be sure to follow through with a negative hit, so that she doesn't believe you're in awe over her.

Introduce yourself

This almost goes without saying: If there's been no previous flirting, she's not going to know you exist until you make her aware you're there, so step it up a notch and make it happen fellas! To use a golf analogy: It's always the approach shot that sets up the hole, and it's no different with the ladies. Stride up to her casually and introduce yourself.

What to say:
"I'm Joe, happy to meet you." ...(or)....
"Hi there, I'm Joe. I don't believe we've been introduced."

Buy her a drink

Whether you're at a bar, restaurant or coffee shop, a great icebreaker involves the classic buying of the drink. Have the waiter send her another round of what she's already having (if you want to be more aggressive, you could send her your favorite drink) accompanied by a playful note, with your phone number included. Be sure to have the waiter let her know the source of the drink. On your way out, stop by her table and introduce yourself. It's a bold approach without being invasive.

 Be blunt!

Here's an icebreaker for those willing to be even more direct. In many cases, walking up to a woman and letting her know you're a take-charge kind of guy can be really appealing, and even a turn-on. She'll likely take your confidence as an indication that you're someone worth talking to. You know....it all starts with small talk.

Make her smile

That's right, women LOVE their egos stroked just like guys though, although, we tend to show it a bit differently. Getting her to smile works magic for breaking the ice; women love a man who can make them laugh. Cracking a joke could prove the difference between picking up and striking out. Humor sets up a pleasant context and hints that you're a fun guy.

You’ll get far more points for noticing that she has a nice smile than if you try to come off as some sort of misguided Don Juan sort of mush/slang that will make her want to puke. Pick up lines and cheesy icebreakers seldom work. If you need to practice and think of possible lines in order to be prepared for any chance that might present itself, that’s fine, but you have to remain flexible and relaxed so that you don’t sound like you were just waiting to use that line on the first girl that happened to come along. Try this....just be yourself. Don't act all nutty, be you. That's what will really catch her eye. Make good conversation with her and leave her with a gesture that is sure to make her think about you long after you say good-night!

Tantalize him with "Table Talk!"

body language

Definition

Silent (non-verbal) messages communicated through the sender's body movements, facial expressions, voice tone and loudness, etc. In social psychology, all behavior in presence of another person is considered communication. Also called kinesic communications. See also non verbal communication.

Nonverbal communication is a rapidly flowing back-and-forth process. You send one another signals with gestures, sighs, or eye contact. Successful nonverbal communication depends on emotional self-awareness and an understanding of the cues you’re sending, along with the ability to accurately pick up on the cues others are sending you. Ladies, in short, this means "don't hold back." This requires your full concentration and attention. If you're planning what you’re going to say next, daydreaming, or thinking about something else, you are almost certain to miss nonverbal cues and other subtleties in the conversation, and you'll probably blow the opportunity. Relax and go with the flow.....My advice, shoot from the hip. More often than not, the best romantic displays of affection come from moments where we lose our heads and throw the rules right up into the air. I'm all about taking risks. Life is far to short to wonder, "what if?" When you are with someone and you are both feeling a bit romantic, show him/her. Don't wait, there's no time like the present!

Body language is effective! Not only does it show you have a sense of adventure, it also shows that you can use your imagination. My grandmother used to say that if you could master the art of body language, you could have an entire conversation with someone without having ever had to open your mouth. The eyes have a way of often telling it all. Can you speak with your eyes?  The body has a way of saying "I want you now!" It doesn't matter where you are, if the mood strikes and you want to show them how you feel.....send them a signal. It's contagious, fun, exhilarating, erotic, spontaneous and something he'll be thinking about long afterwards. Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary?
Doesn't this just give "table talk" a whole new meaning?
