Boost Your Self-Image...Love Your Body the Way it IS!

Do you have the "I LOVE MYSELF" image? If not you should, but so many women do not and for reasons that shatter their confidence as well as self-image. Why do women feel down when it comes to their figures? Why do we suffer the blues every time we pass one of those three way mirrors in a dressing room or in a store? It's because of all the social media today focusing so much on super skinny women, it's hard to think that you could possibly be desirable if you don't look like the women on TV and in magazines. This hoopla has created quite the buzz.

The reality is, the average woman in America weighs 164 lbs. and is a size 14. That's the facts. Why on earth do you think that my plus size lingerie store, www.SimplyLusciousLingerie.com does so well? It's because regardless of a woman's age or size/figure, I preach that women should love who they are first and foremost and once they do and they feel good about themselves as they certainly should, they can love who they are along with whatever size they are and be happy. You should feel beautiful on the inside and the outside. It starts with your lingerie. I know when I get up in the morning I look for something that is going to make me feel fabulous, and so should YOU!

A positive self-image is one of the top things most women struggle with. So, how can you learn to love your body the way it is? First of all ladies you need to focus on what you do like about your body. Soooo, here are a variety of questions to get you thinking about the things you DO like about yourself:
  • What areas do you get complimented on the most? What do others notice about you first when you walk into a room?
  • Do you smile and feel good about YOU?
  • Do you feel sexy?
  • Are you confident with who you are regardless of your shape or size?
  • Are you shapely with a larger busts and hips? Do you have a curvy figure?
  • Do you have nice legs? Or do you have cankles?
  • Do people comment on how pretty you are or often say that you have beautiful eyes?
  • Do you like to show off your feet with pretty sandals or open toed shoes?
  • Is your hair shiny and beautiful? Do you like to touch it or play with it?
Instead of being overly critical and negative, be grateful for the body and health you do have. So give yourself permission to see and accept the good and love what body you have!

Boosting Your Self-Image with the Perfect Clothing

Listen,...learning to love your body is important because having a good self-image empowers you in many ways. When you love the way you look, you feel more confident and confidence gives you the ability to do anything you set your mind to. Dressing for your body type also plays a big part in how you look and see yourself, so it's important to know what color, style, shape and material of clothing looks best on you. If it looks great on a model or someone else, it does not mean that it will work best for you. You can dress up or down, but either way you should feel comfy in what you are wearing for sure. If your closet is full of worn out t-shirts and old raggy faded blue jeans, it's time for a wardrobe makeover!

My very own unprofessional advice? Take a good, honest friend or family member shopping with you to help you choose clothes that fit well and colors that look best on you. Remember, what you may like is something that you have been wearing for years and years. Are you stuck in a time warp? Could be...and if so it's time for some outside reinforcements! Updating your wardrobe doesn't have to be expensive either. Begin by shopping resale stores. Oftentimes you can find brand name, never worn clothes at prices greatly below retail. However, don't settle for less than the best for your body type. If you can't find the perfect items for your body, then don't buy the clothes just because they're cheap.

Build your wardrobe from the bottom up on a budget; starting with the most basic necessities:
  • Black dress pants for work or an evening out
  • One dressy blouse for work or an evening out
  • One power suit for job interviews or business
  • A black skirt
  • Camisoles in a variety of colors for layering
  • A well fitting pair of blue jeans for casual days
  • 2 to 3 casual tops (by casual I'm not talking t-shirts either)
  • 2 pair of shoes: 1 for dress and 1 for casual
When you've got the basic necessities, then you can build your wardrobe up from there by adding dressy blouses or tops in different colors and styles, more skirts in various styles and colors.

Once you start loving your body by recognizing what you do like about it and dressing to fit your body type, you'll gain a whole new confidence like you've never felt before and other people will take notice too. You may notice others reacting somewhat differently toward you as they respond to your new confidence...and we all know that confidence does your body good. You have to think beauty to feel beauty regardless of your size or shape.

So hey ladies... start learning to love your body now. You're sexy and  oh so beautiful!

Express Yourself...

"You deserve the best in life...So if the time isn't right then move on. Second best is never enough
You'll do much better baby on your own." I heard this Madonna song tonight as my son (in NYC) and I were sending text messages to one another and I put this part of the lyrics on my Facebook wall. Think about it...don't you deserve the best in life? If the answer is yes, you need to Express yourself!

Have you ever felt like no matter how hard to tried to make things better, or to make a relationship work you just kept taking three steps forward to go two steps back? That was my life 13 years ago and looking back is wasn't as easy as so many people would think. Being the black sheep of my family already I was the one who didn't get through college. I was the one who got married too young and became a mother too fast, and I was the one who would never succeed like her siblings did. Imagine trying to live your life competing with that? Welcome to what was once known as my world.
Do you know how old and meaningless it gets to be the one hounded by your mother for things that she would NEVER in a million years hound your brother and sister for? Have you ever been made to feel so bad that your self esteem became so low that you didn't think you were capable of doing anything at all, much less being a mother? I ask you...where is the love?

After my divorce I was the "pity" child. I was the one that was in need of something/everything. I was the single daughter with no man to care for me...but guess what? I didn't need a man to take care of me. I could take care of myself. I took on retail management jobs, and worked for custom builders. I tried working for nursing homes, chiropractors, I was an office manager a few times, I ran a payroll and account department,  property management, mortgage work, more sales, and even real estate. The problem was....I wasn't the vice president of a bank, the doctor or the molecular biologist. I was none of that....but I was still the same girl that held her head high when she walked into a room because I was proud of who I was. I paid the bills, kept the room over 3 heads, put food on the table, put two kids through private high school and then onto college. I was 'Super Mom' and to me, that job title was held with more honor, praise and respect than all of the above jobs put together.

I was just me...a woman on a mission to succeed somehow doing something that I love. No one ever guessed that would be selling panties and sexy lingerie for a living but that you see was my calling. Building two lingerie businesses from scratch was exactly what I did. If you think owning your own business is easy, think again my friend...It is endless hours, tons of computer work, new products, blogs, affiliate programs, taking business classes to keep up on laws and rules, and traveling to convention centers for trade shows. Even doing all of those things as important as they all are making other women feel  special and giving them the confidence to believe in themselves was where my destiny was. You may not think much of it but I was determined to make a difference. Does my family approve of what I do? I am not sure really. Sometimes I think that they think I'm nuts. Do I care? No....because you see like Madonna, I deserved the best in life, and it was/is my time...so I'm moving on, with or without the support of others. Sometimes I do much better on my own, and since I love what I am doing, and I am confident in 'me' nothing else really seems to matter for it is this that makes me who I am, and I am a happy gal!

The moral of the story is don't let someone else try to run your life. No one decides what's best for you except for you. Never let anyone tell you that you are not good enough. No one needs a dictator, and no one needs to treat you like anything you do is inadequate. Others, including your family may think that they know what is best for you,...but guess what? Only you know what is best for you. I did it at age 19 and I can make the right decisions at 48.

Never allow yourself as a person to feel like you are second best, or not good enough. You owe it to you to be true to who you are, regardless of what you do. If you are happy with your life, you owe no one any explanations. If you are lost and looking for your way...fear not, you'll find it. Have faith in yourself. If you are afraid of making mistakes....honey, I wrote the book on them, and I am still making mistakes but if you don't mess up once in a while you won't grow from it. If people keep bailing you out or trying to 'fix' your problems, you'll never learn.

Take life one day at a time. Life is NOT about having regrets. Life is far too short to ask 'what if?' Life is too short to wonder 'why' didn't I try this, or that? If you don't like what you do for a living, make a change. If you don't like where you live, move. If you love big cities and live in a small rural town, pack your bags and venture out. If you don't you'll never know what could have been, and trust me, you don't want to look back on your life 20 years from now and wonder 'what if!' Life is full of risks, so take one. Don't be afraid to grab the bull by the horns. Live for today! As for me, I have two terrific kids now both living in NYC that love life, and they are finding their way. They are succeeding and doing well, and they should be...I didn't meddle and I gave them the tools to use in life to grow and learn. They are happy and they love me for me, good, bad and ugly...faults, bad habits and all. That is unconditional love my friends and that is what life is all about.

Unconditional love is known as affection without any limitations.Who really loves you? Those who allow you to be who you are without judging you know the true meaning. They are the ones who will sit back, watch you grow and mature, and they will be the ones that see the fullest potential in all that you are and all that you do. Those who want to control you or run your life,..they have a real problem. Love is not smothering someone,...it's giving you the space to learn and to grow.

Why Do We Fear Change, and Trying New Things?

It’s pretty normal for all of us to feel hesitant when we want to try something new. Let's face it, it's scary. Some might say tha tlife is all about taking risks...I certainly do. I've learned first hand that life is too short and we never know what tomorrow will bring...so why hold back? We get accustom to our lives going the same way, day in and day out, so when something happens that suggests change, we hit the internal panic button, don't we? When this occurs, the underlying fear of failure is crippling. There are some who even fear getting what they want and finding out that it’s not really as great as they dreamed it to be.

The first fear is totally understandable but there are some ways to go about it. What you're going to want, and need to do is focus on trying something that’s simple and realistic first. It can be a new restaurant, new cusisine, a new look, sexy lingerie from Simply Delicious Lingerie or even the basics of a new language. The object of the game is to learn something to stimulate your senses and if you master it, think of the energy boost you’ll get! What a rush that is. Slowly, you’ll start getting the courage to try something else it could be another simple thing or a bit more complicated. A few more of these and you’ll be confident enough to try whatever goals you want to accomplish.

The second fear can be re-worded as the fear of disappointment and is altogether as real as the fear of failure is.  Some unfortunate thing probably happened after you achieved a dream that scared you to try something else.  A shrink can help those who’ve reached the point that this fear becomes a phobia but to those who can still recognize that they want to change, there’s still hope, so remember that you are loved. Again, if there’s a will to change however slight it may be, there will be a way to do it. Might I suggest taking baby steps toward a new goal?

Whatever fear you have, challenge yourself to face the obstacles. Reality says it is time to renew your courage and face those fears head on. Problems are always there BUT so are their solutions. There will be times when you’ll encounter some setbacks but take it slow, cut yourself some slack and try again. Sooner or later you will work it out, sooner or later... you’ll get it. The key is to learn from past mistakes, build on your experience and don't be afraid to be yourself! Confidence comes from within.

3 Easy Ways to BOOST your CONFIDENCE!

I think from time to time, we all tend to get a little down on ourselves...that's natural...but when you sink further and your self-esteem goes down the poop shoot..it's time for some reinforcements! Low self-confidence has the power to limit you in all areas of your life. It can hold you back in your career, prevent you from having healthy relationships, and even keep you disconnected from your inner power. You need to find your happy place and create a better YOU!

Boosting your confidence is often a simple matter of changing the way you see yourself. If you hold a negative self-image because of painful experiences from the past or constant negative reinforcement, creating a more positive self-image will help you to begin rebuilding your confidence. Buck up...and put on a happy face!

Here are 3 simple ways to begin seeing yourself in a more positive light:

Fake it and Put on a HAPPY FACE.
This is quite an old method, but one that can work surprisingly well if you give it enough effort. When you “pretend” that something is true, you perform a mental shift from one state to another. You are, in essence, moving yourself from one “reality” to another. The next time you’re out in a public place, pretend you are the most confident person in the world. Imagine that you are completely secure in your own capabilities and completely accepting of yourself as a unique and valuable person.
Consider how a person with these beliefs would act, and then make an effort to act that way. Pay attention to what happens when you do; how others treat you, how you feel about yourself and so on. You may be surprised to discover just how much attitude has to do with self-confidence.

Affirm ALL of your good qualities!
While faking confidence can be an immediate help, you will also need to address the underlying beliefs that cause your low self-confidence if you want to create lasting change.
One good way to do this is by forming a new habit of building yourself up. Take time to acknowledge the good things you do, the achievements you’ve made in the past, and even the effort you give to something new.
Speak kindly to yourself and develop a healthy appreciation for your skills and abilities. If you stop beating yourself up because you’re not the most perfect person in the world, you’ll probably discover that you’re not half bad, either!

See yourself as a growing work in progress. Remember, you can only get Better!
Remember that there will always be people who are more talented, smarter, braver, and better than you are in some way. If your confidence is suffering because you are trying to measure up to some impossible standard, learn to adjust your thinking a bit. You are just as good, smart and savvy as everyone else!
Affirm that you are a work in progress, and you get better every year. With each passing phase of your life, you grow in mastery. You are smarter than you were yesterday, better than you were last week, and more talented than you were last year. This is a process that will continue throughout your entire life. If you can keep in mind that you’ll never be “done” growing and learning, you’ll be able to see your capabilities as ever-evolving aspects of an ever-evolving you! Hold your heard high and remember, if you love yourself, everyone else will love you too!

Bad Day...Where's your Confidence?

In order to have confidence, one must first understand the true definition of what it really is exactly;

con·fi·dence [ kónfidənss ]
  1. belief in own abilities: self assurance or a belief in your ability to succeed
  2. faith in somebody to do right: belief or trust in somebody or something, or in the ability of somebody or something to act in a proper, trustworthy, or reliable manner
  3. secret: something told to somebody that is to be kept private

So you think you're having a bad day, where is your confidence? Whether it happens often or not, we all have them. Times when we want to bury our heads in the sand, or stay under our covers in the morning and never get out of bed...regardless of what type of person you are, we always tend to remember the 'bad days' over the good ones. Why is this? It's part of life. We let low self-esteem creep in and it can take over, so don't let it. You must believe in yourself first.

Listen, being confident does not mean you have to brash and offensive. It simply means you can sail into any situation without having agonizing seizures of insecurities. Having confidence is separate from having self-esteem; it is about capability of doing something with panache. Self-esteem has something to do with valuing the self. Something to remember; Confidence is not inborn. It is a result of constant practice and effort. There are several ways to have that kind of self-composure. First keep physically and mentally fit. The mind and body jive is vital to develop positive thoughts.

Even when we are having what we think of as the worst day ever, it is helpful to put it into perspective.
What makes a bad day “bad?”  Many things can make for a bad day. Try to take it in stride and look for even just one positive thing that came out of that day.
If you are a woman who is a professional at the office or if you own a business, I think it is crucial that a any business owner be confident in the work or service he or she provides. If you’re not confident in your work, why would any of your potential clients be confident in you? Confidence and great self-esteem go hand in hand. Example; By knowing the value you provide and the expertise you bring to the table, you show that you have a product that is worthy of the price you charge. If you can sell it with confidence, people will buy it because they trust not only you, but your word. It's building respect and everyone wants to be respected.

Your time is valuable, do you want to spend it feeling sorry for yourself or being angry at others? No. My advice, and although I am not an expert, I know a little bit about the topic. Dig deep and find strength and feed from it. Turn the negatives into positives. Wipe off that frown and try to smile for God sakes....it's not that bad.  You don’t have to be in a bad mood if your day is not going as planned.  Deal with it. You can choose to be frustrated, angry, or sad just as easily as you can choose to laugh it off, be happy, or be grateful. Pull it together sister. So if you think you're having a bad day...dig deep...it may be under a few layers but it's there, and once you find it your life will change for the better. No more low self-esteem, no more negative thoughts, think positive,...be confident, for underneath it all, you are super woman!

Oh No You Didn't...

Here are some things that everyone should know and be aware of. They are all about life in general. Your life! I prefer to call them the "NOT TO DO" list that everyone should read and understand. We all make mistakes, we are only human. We learn from our mistakes and we grow from them. I've listed some things that I've learned over the years and that others have brought to my attention. I hope that some of these things are helpful to you. They reflect on us, sometimes good, other times bad. Always remember to be "true to you!" You are the one that matters!

1. Have Regrets..

We all do, and often we feel sorry about what happened. Spend time and energy on things that aren’t even there, but you feel are “unsolved yet”. Keep your focus on the past and ignore the present is the worst advice I've ever heard anyone say. Focus on today, the things that you CAN change! Learn to not have regrets. They are top heavy and nothing good ever comes from them. This is what regrets do: they tie you down to things in the past that doesn’t matter anymore. Well, you can’t do anything about them anyway: accept and move on.

2. Expect to Be Lied To

Expect to be told lies in the name of something “bigger” than you: a family, a career, anything. Eat it up every day while knowing the truth and still accepting that other, twisted reality, hoping at some point things will go better. They won’t. And there is no such thing as something bigger than you. You be the bigger person here. If someone lies to you. Consider the source and realize they aren't all that smart. Lies have a big way of catching up to people and eventually, karma comes knocking at their door!

3. Stay in the Wrong Partnership

Wrong partnerships may be both personal or professional. You may think it’s just temporary or even “it might be good for you” but you’re just deluding yourself. Wrong partnerships are nothing but swamps: they’ll slowly drag you down. If you don’t get out of them the moment you realize they’re wrong for you, you’ll become one with the swamp. Don't stay with someone out of guilt, or for fear of being lonely. Lonely and alone is much better than being with someone who will only make you miserable.

4. Fight your Addictions

Make them “bigger” than you. Call it alcohol or just an addiction to fight. Call it work, as in workaholic, or eating much more than you need. Call it drugs or just an addiction to a person (co-dependence). Giving in to addictions is a conscious act of surrender. You accept to lose a battle. And then another one. Slowly, you’ll going to lose the war. Do not allow them to be your drug...if you let these people walk on you, they will take advantage of your feelings/emotions. No one needs bad habits, get rid of them!

5. Dream Without Taking Action

Daydreaming is good. Dreams mean things...I dream that my teeth are all mushy sometimes...here I thought I was going crazy...my little sister has the same dream...she said that it means you are stressed. Hmmm....single mother, raised 2 kids, trying to run 3 businesses....do you think? No that explains things...I wasn't sure what it meant. Dreams open your heart to new universes and goals. But daydreaming without action is useless. Fun sometimes, yes, but not cost effective for the "big plan" of your future. Sitting on your tush while waiting for all your intentions to manifest, without taking the smallest action for moving things forward, won’t change anything. Oh, sorry, it will change something: your tush will grow in size! My grandmother used to always say, "Life doesn't just happen, you have to go out there and make it happen!"

6. Sleep More Than You Need

Because you’re too tired of doing the same stupid things again while you’re awake. Or because you’re avoiding your real life, searching for a shallow refuge under the pillow. And, of course, lose all the opportunities you could embrace while you’re sleeping. Becoming an early riser, on the other hand, is more than often priceless.

7. Play The Guilt Card

If you did something wrong, instead of a) assessing what was really wrong, b) learn the lesson and c) move on, play the guilt card. Feel guilty for all the bad things you did, until you start feeling guilty for all the things you did. Playing the guilt card is closely related to religion, but it can occur outside religion too. Just get over it. Guilt can’t pay your rent...Grow up!

8. Victimize Yourself

If you lost something, act like you’ve lost everything. Be a victim. Ask for other people’s compassion. Play like every people you meet makes whatever omelet he wants from you. Victimizing yourself in exchange of compassion is far more common than you think. It’s contagious too. Just remember you may lose a battle, but that’s not making you a victim.

9. Reality Check!

As difficult as it seems, every once in a while you should step back and take a good hard look at yourself. Bite the bullet and ask yourself a bunch of tough questions. Better give a wrong answer now to a difficult question, but move on with your life, than ignoring what’s going on with you and remain stuck. Introspection always pays forward.

10. Work Harder, It Pays Off!

And ruin your health while pretending you’re sacrificing for the good of the … (fill in the blanks: family, friends, boss, career, planet). You have physical limits and usually that’s a good thing. Breaking up your physical limits in the name of a dumb cause will screw up your life faster than you think...and for a long time. Work smarter, not harder. Play tough, be aggressive, and stay focused.

11. Don’t Play

Sure we all like to do it...screw around sometimes, play hookie, take a "me" day....and we should. Life is far too short to be walking around all serious like you have a stick up your ass. But sometimes playing is just plain stupid, it wastes your time and energy and it doesn’t give you any measurable results. Don’t play and lose the only divine thing that you get for free. Don’t play and let your inner child become a gray adult with heavy topics to discuss every minute. Don’t play and watch how your life gets seriously screwed up.

12. Stop Learning? Never...Always want to Learn More!

Who said if you already know too much you will learn will not give you any competitive advantage in the narrow niche you’re playing now. That's hogwash! never stop learning! There is so much to discover that you won’t cover it even in a dozen lifetimes. Stop learning because it gets so difficult and it takes you out of your comfort zone. Yeah, why bother? Screw it! Nahhhhhh...bad attitude. The smart one never stops learning. Always stay one step ahead of the game. Never let your competition gain footing.

13. Gossip

Talk bad about other people. That’s a 100% sure way to screw up your relationships, your social credibility, your personal values. The way you talk about people often determines the way you act towards them. Gossip is a heavy weapon and, no matter how skilled you get at using it, it always destroys its owner. Do it often. It will accelerate the decay process.

14.Oh No You Didn't....
Never ever ever let someone tell you that your advice is not necessary. Never, ever ever let someone tell you do back off, shut up, take a seat, take a long walk off a short pier, mind your own "Ps & Q's" ....nothing! Confidence is something that we have within. Some people try to break down our defenses by belittling us so that we think we are not good, or not smart, or educated like others. Never let anyone make you feel this way.

Sexy Tips for Meeting the Right Guys

How many times have you said to your friends..."Why can't I meet a guy like that?" Or..."What did she do to land him?" Well...let's see... Being sexy is all about confidence and feeling good about who you are. What makes you so unique and appealing to a man? Have you ever sat in a bar or a night club and people watched? It is my favorite thing to do. However, you don't need to be in a bar to do this, I did it a few days ago at the Laguardia Airport in NYC. What you wear, how you sit, talk, and walk all make a statement about who you are. It defines your self worth whether you realize it or not. Take pride in who you are and how you come across to others. Wouldn't you much rather have someone notice the elegant, finer things that you do rather than remember that you were the girl that chugged down a can of beer and ate nuts out of a bowl like a dog? I've listed some rules about being sexy that every woman should try to follow. If you are attracting the wrong kind of man, sister take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror....it may be "you" that needs some adjusting!

Natural is sexy. Many young girls believe that layers of make-up will make them look sexier. Much to the contrary, sexy mature is classy, not slutty. Demure make up is best. Remember only emphasize one feature or evenly (and lightly) emphasize all features. Too much make up looks trashy.

Being sexy is communicated by choice of drink. Shots, alcopops, and cheap "wine" are all the marks of an immature girl, and not particularly sexy. Good wine or a nice cocktail are marks of a more sophisticated woman. Ladies, learn your wines, and learn to like a martini. It is classy and men will take notice. Trust me, no man wants to see a woman slamming down a shot of tequila and licking salt off her hand. If you want to be treated like a lady, first you must act like one.

Keep clothes flattering, and sexy. Skimpy outfits and short dresses might get a boy's immediate attention, but that attention will be gone just as fast. Leave them guessing a little. Clean fitted clothes are best. Choose flattering colors and fabrics. It might not need to be expensive but it should make you feel good about yourself. If you can't get comfortable in it then it makes you look awkward and uncomfortable.

Be yourself and more importantly be respectful of yourself. Younger people tend to put out vibes they believe will make them feel accepted. A sexy and mature woman is confident with who she is. Confidence and self respect are some of the sexiest things a woman can be and these two things are what will win a mans heart and captivate him most.

Colors are important. Different colors are associated with different levels of maturity. Young children tend to wear light bright colors. Sexy and demure colors can range from anywhere to black, neutrals, to jewel tones. Avoid neons...please!

Learn to walk in high heels. It is an absolute must for becoming sexy and mature. Heels make legs look more shapely and have a slimming effect. Never wear heels higher than you are comfortable with (wobbling awkwardly is never sexy) and avoid platforms. Platform heels are for goths or pornstars. Wear them around the house until you're used to them, start out with a 1 inch if you're not used to heels at all, and work your way up to a 4 inch, month after month. Men love women in heels. It's sexy and appealing to their eyes. Heels are the magnet that lure a man to you.

Wear lingerie to fit your outfit. Young girls tend to think the "whale tale" (thong sticking out), or bra straps hanging out are sexy. This is not sexy, it's slutty. Sexy is looking amazing in your outfit "naturally." (Cleavage is sexier if the push-up bra isn't obvious.) Ok, owning two lingerie companies, Simply Delicious Lingerie, and my new plus size store coming soon, Simply Luscious Lingerie, I can tell you that your appearance says a lot about who you are. It makes a statement to your inner self. If you are confident, you can pull any piece of lingerie off. However, with many of us, our sizes and shapes vary as we get older, unfortunately, and we need to find something that will ready seduce not only our minds and make us feel great, but it has to supersede his expectations far beyond belief as well. Think of lingerie as your first layer. If your selection is good and you feel good in it, the rest of you will feel great also!

Wear a sexy perfume. Not stuff like Britney Spears and J Lo smells, but Armani< Dior, Gucci, and Calvin Klein are what scents reel a man in. If you can't afford it, try things like Estee Lauder and Tommy Hilfiger, or simply go to the local drugstore or perfume department and sniff around until you find a cheap perfume that you love. GO to outlet stores, they often run some great sales. Overstock.com is another place to look, Ebay as well. Be careful not too spray too much on. People should smell it if they're giving you a tight hug. If they're standing a foot away and can smell you strongly, then you're wearing too much. Just dab directly to your wrists and throat.

Jewelery should be understated and meant to emphasize your outfit/ features. Gaudy and over-the-top jewelery is not for the sexy mature woman. Jewelery does not need to be expensive, but it should look real and classy. Nothing too goddy...unless you really want to look tacky. Simply is better. It says that you have taste and know how to accessorize in a subtle way.

Know how to Eat, and Order your Food. This means, for God sakes, don't chomp on your gum, in fact, don't even be chewing gum when you are with a man on a date. If you play with your gum while chewing on it, go home. You look like a silly school girl and now business savvy man or any gentleman for that matter will take you serious. Do you Know how to Seduce a Man?

You know,.....Seducing a man is not as difficult as it seems to be. It is very easy to get "your" guy to notice you. But you want a particular man to notice you! The trick is to leave the guy unsatisfied…yes you read it right. Unsatisfied is the word over here. Leave him intrigued so that he craves for more. Make him go nuts because he wants to see you......tease him, taunt him, and show him a taste of naughty....JUST A TASTE! If you give too much too fast, you will blow it....men love the chase. If you string him along somewhat, he'll feel that he needs to do more to win your affection because your schedule is so busy. He'll just want that time with you....so play this out right! That is what will make him even more attracted towards you. Here are ideas for enticing men that'll make you an expert in how to seduce him. Follow our "tips to seduce a guy" and walk away with your prized trophy!

Tips On Seducing A Man

Create the Right Environment
Seduction is best done is a sensual atmosphere. Make sure you are in a place where there is not much distraction like loud music, too many people and bad ambiance. The best environment for seduction is candle- lit dinner and soft music. You might want to light some candles and have soft music playing too! It sort of sets the tone for the evening.

Confidence Counts
Men like women who are confident about themselves. So, straighten those shoulders, put your nose up in the air and walk with that confident swagger. Be careful not to overdo it else it may look arrogant instead of confident. Amidst all this, do not forget that an excellent posture would be an add-on.

Eye Contact
Eyes can communicate emotions. They are the windows to our soul. Lock him in a captivating glance and make sure you "speak" with your eyes. My grandmother always used to say that if you are connected physically to a person you can speak with your eyes, and never have to use your mouth. Maintain a steady gaze. Do not gawk or stare. You don't want to make him feel uncomfortable in any way.
Play Hard to Get
Don't be too obvious in showing your interest in a guy. Ignore him every now and then. But don't be so cold that the guy loses interest in you. Giving him space would be a good option for both of you. While you get time to observe him, he gets time to “miss” you. All women love to be missed. You know that saying "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."

Looks that Kill
Slip on a sensuous dress, do something different to your hair, wear those dangerously high stilettos and apply some make up...a little, not a lot. Accentuate your attractive features like eyes, lips or neck. If you find yourself gorgeous in the mirror, consider half of your job done! Don't forget your delicates from Suimply Delicious Lingerie! How about some thigh highs and garters? Soft and sexy.....

Modulate your Tone
Nothing is more seductive than a gentle yet sensuous tone. Whisper something in his ear like “You look so handsome tonight" in that seductive tone. The guy will not only be flattered, but this will set the romance tone of the date....soon he'll want more!
Just Flirt
Flirt by all means. Tell him he looks like a Greek God, but sound genuine. Men love it when we feed their ego! Blink your eyes to look vulnerable yet hard to get. You can slightly touch him on the shoulder or the wrist while laughing, but don;t make too much contact....not yet..... Again, don't overdo it. Men don't like being pushed. Engage in a good conversation and give your viewpoints instead of nodding your head constantly to his.

Smell Good
Make sure you smell really good. Pull out all the stops and wear that perfume that makes you smell like a million bucks. DO NOT spray the perfume directly on yourself. Spray it in front of you and immediately walk through the mist. This makes sure it is not concentrated on some places and you smell good overall. Remember, this is the scent that he'll remember long after you are away from him. Men find it seductive when we smell good. It's like an aphrodisiac.

Unwind a Bit

Pour a glass of wine, sit down and relax. Tease him at the table....rub his leg, smile, wink....lick your lips....men find that to be quite the turn on ladies....do it nice and slowwwwwwwww....just let things happen…oh, and if you own a piece or two of sexy lingerie, now might be the time for tempting and teasing.
