Tomato shallot bruschetta ......Quick, easy and sooooo mouth watering....
This makes a perfect appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 1 shallot, finely minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- Sea salt and pepper
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and let sit for at least 30 minutes before using.
- To use: Toast baguette slices in the oven and then top each slice with a small amount of bruschetta.
- Slip into something sensual, relax and enjoy the moment....soft music, soft lights, slow kisses...
- Serve immediately with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, (my favorite) or something of your liking.
I'm trying to plan a really special evening for a woman that I am head over heels for...Do you have a favorite wine that you like to serve with this app? Not a big wine connoisseur, and women prefer a soft glass of wine vs a bottle of beer. I could use some advice? Anyone care to comment?
