In today's hustle and bustle of a crazy 'gotta be skinny' type world...far too many women especially the young ladies are so worried about what they eat and if they'll put on weight that we've got a real problem on our hands. Eating disorders have sky-rocketed because young girls think that they have to be skin and bones, when in fact, curves looks more appealing to the eye.
Growing up one of my best friends was overweight and she was the most beautiful girl I knew. In her early high school years she thought that being skinny would help her to fit in and be popular, and it worked, but losing an extreme amount of weight can cause problems both mentally and physically. There was a price for her to pay to be skinny and at 48 years of age, she is still paying for it. My question is why? Why do women do this to themselves just to fit in and get approval of others, when in fact this girl, my best friend was born to stand out. Her personality was amazing, her laughter filled the air and she had charisma like you've never seen before. Today she is much thinner but many of my friends are still plus size women and they are so beautiful.
What I have learned from them is that although they are plus size they cannot find sexy plus size lingerie, and when they do, it is either too expensive, or too ugly.
