For those of you ladies that did not know how important it is to be multitaskers with men, please allow me to share what you need to do to capture his attention. First I should ask; did you know that more than 50 percent of all communication is done via body language and gestures? Yes, this is very true, so when it comes to meeting MR Right or Mr Dreamy, it doesn't take long at all for him to to size you up subconsciously. Did you also know that a man will decide within 7 seconds of looking at you if he wants to talk to you?

 A Few Pointers;

Wear red

Women who dress in red are seen as sexier by men than those who wear white, green, gray, or blue, according to a study at the University of Rochester. This does not mean that you have to show up in all red, nor do I want you to look like a hooker. Sometimes red means sometime as simple as the lipstick you wear. Men love a woman's lips, so why not show them off! There's your red, simple and sexy! When you wear red, they're even 56 percent more likely to get asked out on a date than women in blue.

What else can you do to get noticed? As Madonna sang; Express Yourself! Men are much more attracted to women who are animated in their face, voice and body. Use your hands and head movements for emphasis, and for goodness sakes, smile!

So is the pressure on for you? YES, the pressure may be on, but projecting an alluring image in that tiny window of time is actually pretty easy. When going out;

1) Remember to be who you are and act yourself. Try to be original and unique in your sexiness, not just a bimbo emulating or trying to be somebody else.

2)  Remember, confidence is the key. Sex appeal involves a belief in yourself that you can and will appear sexy. Most public icons or even film stars carry their sexiness in their confidence. Even a simple smile shows confidence and appeal. In fact the starting point to sexiness starts with confidence.

3)  Style your Hair; That's right, make a trip to the hair salon. A new cut or style will make you feel sexy and confident. Having a change of hair color is nice, too. Go for something natural and not too dramatic. Deep condition your hair at least once a month. In the mornings, flat iron your hair or put it in a messy bun, depending on your style. Adding extensions or a wig can radically change an everyday look from "ho-hum" to "wow" to turn a few heads.

4)  Work that Body!

This is not at all going to make you spend a fortune on clothes, and they don't need to be designer. • Black is ohhh soooo sexy. It's my all time favorite color to wear. It hides fat, creates curves and makes you feel like a goddess...and what woman alive doesn't want to look like a goddess?
• Sexy undergarments. But don't flash them. Be classy about it otherwise you look trashy. Try to maintain class as much as possible, while still being sexy.

5)  Wear make-up. Just make sure not to go overboard. Subtle is very sexy in the same way that less is more. Accent one feature at a time.Remember that you date wants to see your natural side, not a woman that wears enough make-up to cover a clown. He wants to see the beauty in a simple way.
He wants to see you look as beautiful when he takes you on a date as he might see you when he shows up at your door early in the morning with coffee and muffins.

6) Get in SHAPE! What do I mean by this? Need to lose a few pounds, or firm it up? Create a workout plan. Just as you make your to-do list, or your grocery list, make a work out list; Crunches and lunges equal flat, hard ab muscles, lunges equal toned legs, and squats equal a toned backside. Running or jogging works all muscles of the body and increases your stamina. Plus, the hormones your body releases while exercising carry on through your evening activities to contribute to your new sexy attitude.

• Remember that if your workout goal is to lose weight, you're going to need to sweat, and for an extended period of time. Lifting weights will help you drop pounds, since muscle mass burns calories increasing your metabolism. If weight loss is your goal, a good starting point is to do something that gets your heart rate up, like walking briskly, swimming, dancing, or biking, for 30 minutes, 3 times per week. Most importantly, make sure you are burning more calories in a day than you consume. This is the only way you will ever lose weight. Dating After 40...Dress the Part, and Act Your Age!

Often we women wonder why men aren't attracted to us, or why they get so turned off after a first date, but  have you looked at everything leading up to this first date to see what it was that went so terribly wrong? If you have younger friends, don't bother asking, they're only going to give you suggestions of how they would dress and trust me, most if the time, you wouldn't want to be caught dead walking out the front door.  If you go out in a halter with cleavage barely contained and a mini-skirt that slightly larger than his handkerchief, then you’re sending a message that he reads as “YES” and other women quickly label “slut.” Oh you’ll get plenty of attention, but the wrong kind of attention! Is that what you want? Listen, there are store to go to for really nice apparel at reduced costs. so when you go to a store, DO NOT go straight to the 'juniors section!" They deserve it and you need to represent not only who you are but you're representing all the other middle aged women out there.  Junior are meant for juniors, plain and simple...so stay out of that department all together! If you don't know what they interview is for and what position of the company, my suggestion is this; dress for the job you want, not for the job you have. For a date, apply that advice. If you aren’t sure what to wear, go with business casual and sensible shoes. Less is more. This means you don't need to be all blingy and don't wear a ton of make up. Men love simple and natural. If you are wearing so much make up that it takes layers to remove it, stop right here! If you wear a sleeveless top, bring along a light sweater, or a shawl since you don’t know whether you’ll be inside a chilly movie theatre or sitting outside at a patio restaurant after the evening temperatures drop. 

If you’re getting back into the dating scene after a few years, take time to look over the current magazines for casual styles. Go simple with colors too. The shoes and bag can be matched or at least complement each other which would definitely make the whole look striking in totality. Similarly belts give that much needed emphasis and diversion from the black dress. It also can help in changing the look of the dress. Depending upon your body structure the belt can help in hiding the flaws and enhancing the assets.
