Lingerie...Why Wear Sexy Matching Sets?

Why wear sexy matching sets women ask? When it comes to every day dress, my mother used to tell us to always make sure you had on matching underwear and that it was clean. Ok, as a child that didn't mean a whole lot, but as we tend to get older, and over the years we come to realize that mom really had a valid point. Keeping your underwear clean was the easy thing to do...every day you shower and you put a new pair on, however,...why should it be matching? For many reasons, but for the most common; sex appeal. Truth be told, many women do not always wear matching underwear, including my daughter. I've seen her lingerie drawer and nothing makes sense to me. She is one of the most organized young ladies that I know but when I was doing her laundry for her one day and I opened her lingerie drawer,... I just about fell over.

Sometimes you wonder how that ole' apple could fall so far from the tree (especially in situations such as this-where her mother owns lingerie stores and has access to as many delightful colors, styles and selections) and then I realize that everyone is their own person and no two women are really alike. I may be a hot mess in other categories such as closets and how clean and organized they are, or kitchen drawers and what you may or may not find in them...BUT if you looked in my lingerie drawers, you would see that everything is paired together nicely and regardless if you caught me on a Sunday or a Friday, at work or at home, at a concert, out with the girls, on a hot date, cleaning the house or washing my car....I would be be in matching bra and panties and that's the end of the story! Why? Because regardless of anything else I like to feel sexy and for me it is all about what I am wearing beginning with what I slip into each morning when I get out of the shower, and that my friends is SEXY LINGERIE. Feeling sexy boosts your confidence.

Do women take time to dress from the skin on out or are most women just really worried about what they look like on the surface? I believe that your look starts with your lingerie and that it should match and be something not only appealing rather flattering to you. Lingerie is FABULOUS! Whether it be lace, satin, or silk - lingerie comes in a variety of fabrics soft to touch. The styles, patterns and colors that you choose tell a story about YOU!

I believe that you should never get caught in a situation where there could be surprises...so what if you were on a date and one thing leads to another and you end up in the bedroom? You taunt and you tease him, and then you undress....Do you want to be the woman he sees in mismatched undies that clash or the woman that brings him to his knees when you drop your dress and he sees the most sexy matching bra and panties he's ever laid eyes on? Add a garter belt and thigh highs to the equation and you will have him at your mercy, nonetheless remembering that vision of what you stepped out of 'that night' and seduced him in. It's really a no-brainer ladies...plan ahead. Just get into the habit of shopping for sexy matching sets.

Shop with a variety of styles, textures, patterns, and colors in mind. You wouldn't go to work in an outfit that was mismatched, so stop wearing undergarments that are. It doesn't matter what your job title is or your occupation...feeling sexy comes from the inside. If you aren't already wearing matching sets, try to get in the habit of doing so. It speaks volume...and for those 'just in case' moments when you just might get caught with your knickers down, make certain that what you have on underneath is just as alluring to the naked eye as what they see on the surface.

It's not about what others may or may not think of you and how you dress, it is truly about how you feel from the inside out and I'm telling you that if you got into the habit (if you are not already) of wearing sexy matching sets, it would become habit for you to select the color and look just right for you each and every day. You'll begin wearing your panties to match your mood.

Fill your lingerie drawer with colors that tell a story. It's not at all about making others happy or pleasing them, although, in the bedroom we are wanting to please our partner...nevertheless, wearing lingerie is about feeling good and savoring sexy. After all, it is all about YOU! If your lingerie drawer is a hot mess and has too many mismatched pieces, it's time to spring clean! That means out with the old and in with the new....it's time to shop! You don't have to go crazy spending a lot of money. Buy a few sets at a time, and before you know it you'll have a lingerie drawer to be proud of that tells a story about who you are and you'll never have to worry another day about what you have on. Shakira sang it best with her song "Underneath Your Clothes"....you see, there's an endless story, it's your territory. How about "Sexy Man Car Wash?"

Ladies...have you ever really needed to was your car and you just couldn't bring yourself to do it? Perhaps it was too hot outside, and you didn't want to get sweaty, or how about this one..."no manual labor?" Yep, I've used every excuse under the sun. My poor car is lucky if it gets washed 4 times a year. Have you ever "not" needed to wash your car ladies but saw your neighbor outside washing his and found yourself in the garage making your car dirty? I have...I know sad, but true...Hey, sometimes there is just no easy way to meet your new neighbor so a girl has to do what a girl has to do. In today's society we find ways to be clever and we do whatever we can to flirt with someone in a fun, playful, sassy kind of way. While I was outside watching this incredible hunk a hunk of burning love soak his car with a sponge, I thought to myself...."Gee I never wash my car like that?!" Sooooo, just in case someday you should find yourself as I did in your driveway with a hose, soap and a sponge,....here are a few "Do's & Don'ts" for washing your car.

When should I wash the car?

Don't... wait for a layer of crud to accumulate before washing. Dead bugs, bird droppings, and chemicals from the atmosphere all leach acids that can strip away wax and eventually eat into your car's paint. If left too long, they can cause damage that requires sanding and repainting the area to correct.
Do... wash off dead bugs, bird droppings, and tree-sap mist as soon as possible. Other than this, a weekly car wash will keep the finish in its best shape. In addition, if you live in an area that suffers from acid rain, rinse your vehicle off after a period of rainy weather. Otherwise, acidic chemicals in the rainwater will be left on the surface after the droplets have evaporated, leaving a mark that can permanently mar the paint.

Are there any general guidelines I should follow when washing a car?

Don't... wash your car when the body is hot, such as immediately after driving it or after it has been parked in direct sunlight for awhile. Heat speeds the drying of soap and water, making washing more difficult and increasing the chances that spots or deposits will form.

Don't move the sponge in circles. This can create light, but noticeable scratches called swirl marks. Instead, move the sponge lengthwise across the hood and other body panels. And don't continue using a sponge that's dropped on the ground without thoroughly rinsing it out. The sponge can pick up dirt particles that can scratch the paint. This sounds like my father talking...

Do... rinse all surfaces thoroughly with water before you begin washing to remove loose dirt and debris that could cause scratching. Once you begin, concentrate on one section at a time, washing and rinsing each area completely before moving on to the next one. This ensures that you have plenty of time to rinse before the soap dries. Start at the top, and then work your way around the car.
Work the car-wash solution into a lather with plenty of suds that provide lots of lubrication on the paint surface. And rinse the sponge often. Using a separate bucket to rinse the sponge keeps dirt from getting mixed into the sudsy wash water. When rinsing, use a hose without a nozzle and let the water flow over the car from top to bottom. This creates a sheeting action that helps minimize pooling of water.

How should I dry the car when I'm done?

Don't... let the car air dry, and don't expect a drive around the block to do an effective job. Either will leave watermarks, which in areas with hard water are the minerals left after evaporation. In addition, don't use an abrasive towel or other material that can leave hairline scratches in the paint.
Do... use a chamois (natural or synthetic) or soft terry towels. If you choose towels, you may need several. It's best to blot the water up instead of dragging the towel or chamois over the paint. The drying process can go a lot quicker by using a soft squeegee to remove most of the water on the body, but be sure the rubber is pliable and that it doesn't pick up bits of dirt that can cause scratches.

Soooo, when you see a hottie outside and you don't know how to say hello....walk your dog, and if you don't have one, Good God, borrow someones,...or was your car. I find sitting on the front porch in a daze works too...you decide! Just in case this works to your advantage and you get your way, make certain that you have your best Simply Delicious Lingerie on under your clothes...a man loves a woman in sexy bra and panties!

Time to Put your Big Girl Panties On!

Is it always about competition with women? Why do women tend to pick on other women? I see it in the workplace...tearing another woman down because of looks, dress or what her private life may be. I see it more so in bars and night clubs. How old are we?Are you for real? Yet we consider ourselves ( as women) to be more sensitive and empathetic than men. If this is the case, and if it is really true, why so often are we  so mean to other women? I think it has a lot to do with how we view ourselves. Honestly I believe that our minds tend to get filled with the insecurity of.... "how do you look" Are you young enough, pretty enough, is your figure good enough? Seriously? Ladies..." Why go through being insecure about ourselves?  Why can't you just be happy with who "you" are?

The truth is women love to compete with other women. Women want to win men over. They want to be chosen by a man who could have any girl he wants. No woman of caliber wants to win a man by default. She wants her man to be a prize, a good catch, someone she can be proud of. When you tell a woman that her significant other is handsome or intelligent, she’ll likely beam with self satisfaction. In complimenting her man, you’ve complimented her. You have told her, in so many words, that she is capable of attracting a quality mate. The women who rail against this usually have a low self esteem and thus avoid competition because they fear they’ll always fail….or they’re ugly. You pick. I’m not sure if this is socialization or biology. After all, how many men are constantly exclaiming that they couldn’t get a date to save their lives when they were single, only to snag a girlfriend and be surrounded by willing seducers? It happens all the time. There are no exceptions.
Did you know that most women are highly competitive by nature, and it seems that men have an innate ability to bring out their most competitive streak, without even meaning to. Although some women will gracefully bow out if they see that the man they've had their eye on is already involved with another woman, others will see this as a challenge that they can't help but take on. In fact, for some, it renders the man in question even more desirable. But why is this? Why do women compete for men? This is soooo crazy to me? Are there not enough fish in the sea that we have to try to stake our claim on one in particular? The truth is that while the man may be flattered that another woman is interested in him, such tactics will only make the interested party look disrespectful and aggressive, and will not help her cause at all. True love is not something that can be found using hateful or underhanded means.

Ladies, know your strengths and weaknesses and find comfort in both sides of the list. The root of negative competition is, unfortunately, jealousy and the fear that you cannot obtain the true success that you want. First, develop a stronger belief in yourself, your abilities, and your dreams!!  Create quarterly goals which support your personal accomplishments. Make sure that these goals are for your own personal and/or professional happiness, and aren’t derived from your need to “beat” your partner or supersede their level of success.

First and foremost find confidence in yourself. Know your strengths and weaknesses and find comfort in both sides of the list. The root of negative competition is, unfortunately, jealousy and the fear that you cannot obtain the true success that you want. First, develop a stronger belief in yourself, your abilities, and your dreams. Know and understand your partner’s drive and find appreciation in it. Your partner’s strengths and ambitions are probably what attracted you to in the beginning of the relationship. Take yourself back to those days and identify the things you enjoyed about your partner.

Ok, so they say that healthy competition is good. It keeps you on your toes. It helps drive you to a higher level of success. However, bad competition is toxic, destructive, and debilitating. This behavior brings out the worst in individuals and prevents partners from achieving success that’s free from damaging personal distractions. Healthy and even playful competition helps partners bond together, develop together, and learn together. Being mindful of disparaging, competitive behavior is key to keep a growing relationship constructive. There are ways to avoid creating a negative. Are you wearing your big girl panties? If not, put them on and just deal with it!
