Honestly, in your lifetime, how many losers have you kissed that you thought potentially they were Mr. Right? You know the one; at any given moment when they whispered sweet nothings in your ear, told you that you were the ‘only one,’ or proclaimed that you were the one for him only to learn shortly thereafter that he was not the one for you…not by a long shot? How does one tell what types of men there are looking for love? Don’t be looking in all the wrong places. There are generally 4 types of men that are No-Nos. Some of these guys are sneaky and good, so beware ladies and don't get caught in their web of deceit. What are their types and why should we be concerned?

Meet the Loner/The Rebel

Or as I would call home trouble with a capital ‘T!’  Many women meet Bachelor Number One when they're in high school or college. We’re young and naive and our heads are in the clouds. Problem is we never kept our feet on the ground and everything goes to hell in a handbag if you let this happen. He's usually a little older and he's in a rock band, he's an artist of some sort or he drives the fast slick car that your father hates. Oh, sure, he keeps to himself, but he seems like the coolest guy you've ever met. He writes poetry, sings you songs that he wrote about you and he may even read philosophy. For the first little while, you're enamored by how smart and worldly he is compared to guys your own age, ahhh but do not be fooled. My guess is that you’ll be peachy keen over him but your parents will absolutely hate him and with good reason, I'm sure. 

Pros: You feel cool and interesting just being around him. He's pretty sexy in that dark, brooding kind of way, and he lets you wear his perfectly beaten-up leather jacket.

Cons:  He's actually pretty immature. Everything you do is on his terms, and he blames the "establishment" for everything.

Bachelor #2;

The Good Guy…at least on Paper that is. This guy has all the attributes of a guy you can and should bring home to meet your Mom, but beware gals, something is for sure missing. He's usually a nice guy with a well paying job. He owns property and even a dog, and just wants to make you happy. He cooks, cleans and reminds you to call your mother, but still, you aren't completely certain he's the guy for you. Why? Everything looks almost ‘too perfect!’ …And my grandmother always used to tell me that if it seems too good to be true that it probably was. Wise up gals or you’ll be in for a giant let down!

Pros: He will drive you or pick you up from anywhere. Your mom loves him. He always has a stocked fridge and clean towels, and his dog is pretty cute too. All around a happy guy but why is he so happy?

Cons: He's actually a little bit boring. He lectures you about finances and wonders why you're not more serious about investing. He treats you like you are 5 years old and wants you to follow him in success, nonetheless in truth, he reminds you a little bit of your dad. Good or bad? Your call.

The Ultimate Bad Boy #3

 You wouldn't think any smart, sane woman would fall for a guy who turns out to a be a real jerk off, ohhhh but we all do it. This is the guy with a bit of an edge. You know deep down that he isn't right for you, but you are very attracted to him, his passionate flair, and OMG the SEX!! Let’s just say you're not complaining about it. Oh sure there is an abundant amount of passion, but not a whole lot of anything else or any hope of moving the relationship forward. He doesn't show affection, and in the end, causes more heartache than he's worth. Don’t ever let a man call you ‘baby!’ As Beyoncé once sang; ‘Say My Name’ say my name, you acting kind of shady, ain’t calling me baby…shady is an understatement. Most men call women baby when they are doing multiple dating’s and can’t keep a woman’s name straight. Sure it’s easy to call them all baby. BIG RED FLAG!

Pros: Great sex, lots of passion, initial excitement, and you like'm because he is sexy and bad and everything fun in your eyes, at least for the moment.

Cons: He never tells you he loves you. When you suggest spending more time together, commitment or even moving in together, he laughs. He is emotionally unavailable, and a commitment phobic!

#4- The One Who Will Not Commit, No Matter What;

We usually meet this guy shortly before we meet The One. The guy who won't commit starts off very promising. The relationship has passion and intrigue, as well as camaraderie and friendship. You can have great sex and then a great conversation. You feel alive and in love. When the time comes to move in together or talk about marriage, however, he freaks out and eventually has to leave.

Pros: Great guy, almost Mr. Right

Cons: Can't commit despite your best intentions …BUT he’ll never be, because he has serious issues with relationships, and most likely with himself.
