Do You Know How to Earn a Woman's Trust?

Trust of a woman is not the easiest thing to earn, so should you even try? Of course you should or every man alive would be single! What if you need to know how to not only seduce a woman but to win her trust as well? Pay close attention here, because I'm only going to say this once. The most successful relationships have a strong foundation of trust. When attracted to a woman, your natural instinct may be to rush into the relationship. However, most women open up slowly and you should only ask her to trust you insofar as you have proved yourself trustworthy. Although there is no immediate, sure fire way to win the trust of your special lady, there are behaviors and character traits you can cultivate to put you on the right path. Extend trust to her. If you show that you trust her, she will trust you. You can do this by revealing more of yourself or relying on her to fulfill promises she makes. Don't expect her to give you more trust than you have given her.Refrain from lying. Lying kills trust faster than almost anything else.

Hey fellas, this is vital to the concept of gaining a woman’s trust as it inspires confidence in ones self and in her, even if you do not necessarily have a great posture. Eyes convey emotion and just by the simple act of making eye contact with her, you show her that you are a man capable of gaining a personal connection with her as well as an emotional one. When you are hoping to attract and seduce a woman, you will need to know how to win her trust. Women are taught to be cautious of men throughout their lives. Children are told by their parents and teachers to be careful of strange men and for girls this continues after they are grown up. Be genuine. Do not pretend to be someone you are not just to pique her interest. She'll she through you and your schemes and it will only piss her off. Then she'll immediately peg you as someone who cannot be trusted. To build the relationship, find common ground with her.

So when you want to attract a woman, you need to earn her trust. Do you understand what that means? For those of you that don't, this means treating her in a way that shows you will not hurt her. This is not just a question of hurting her physically, although this is certainly a factor. However, she also wants to know that you will not hurt her and treat her badly emotionally. If you say you are going to do something you'd better damn straight do it. You generally only get three strikes from a woman (If your lucky) and then your out and the next fella will move in on your turf and try to get the girl. Chances are he'll get her because you didn't play your cards right and you deserve to lose her.

A man who is impatient and tries to bully women or coerce them into agreeing to a date is not likely to be successful with women. There may be a few who will accept this kind of treatment but most will run away. I recommend running away! If you push a woman too hard for her phone number, for example, she will become afraid and will give you a false one....is that what you want? A great way to win a woman's trust is to establish a connection. In fact, this works for all relationships and you are probably aware of it. Make your intentions clear from the get-go. Attraction by itself is not enough to "seal the deal" and get a woman to go to bed with you. Even if she's hot and bothered and actively WANTS to sleep with you, she'll still inevitably make you wait until she's developed an acceptable level of trust.

The cardinal rule; If you are hoping she will be a one-night stand, don't lead her to believe that you are looking for a dating relationship. While you might successful deceive her, it is unethical to lie to get what you want. On the other hand, if you are already in a relationship, be transparent about how serious you are. Don't lead her to believe that you foresee marriage when you are actually considering breaking up. On the flip side, don't tell her that you are happy with a casual relationship if you want to be exclusive. Remember, it doesn't matter how attractive women find you, if they don't trust you they'll slam on the breaks. So be sure to use this formula to build trust and make women feel comfortable doing what they already want to do... YOU!

Mood Swings + Hot Flashes = Menopause

There has never been a word in my life that I disliked as much since the word cancer and then came Menopause! It really knows how to through a monkey wrench into our lives when things finally are beginning to get back to normal. To any man that says he wishes he were a woman because our lives are "so much easier" I say this; bring it on sweetheart! Men have no idea what we go through. Every woman's body is different and there are times that we don't know whats going on inside of us, so how on earth could a man know? Oh sure they show signs of empathy for us, or make wisecracks or comments under their breath...but those are the times that I look that a man and just want to nail his balls to a tree. From one day to the next (especially when you are going through menopause) we wonder what next? What else is our body going to do and when will we ever feel normal again?

My mother and her mother finished menopause by age 42. So what the heck is going on with my body? Why am I suffering through this now, and for that matter why does any woman have to suffer this? At 48 when you wake up out of a sound sleep to sweat buckets pouring off you and find yourself racing to the freezer to get an icepack to bring back to bed with you simply to lower your body heat all which trying to get back to a normal sleep pattern just seems crazy,...but oh does it work. The ice pack lowers your body temperature quickly. So gals, if you or any woman you know is experiencing hot flashes ( I call them power surges) throughout the night and they are not 'hot spells' from hot sex, try this method.Theoretically these are called 'night sweats' I'd like to call them a REAL PAIN IN MY ASS! To side with men for just a moment here, I learned recently that a man who has had prostrate cancer can actually get hot flashes after having been on a particular drug or two for this disease. Those are the only men getting my sympathy at the moment.

I've spoken about this and even written an article or two in my past blogs, but what you're getting now is coming from a woman who has been up since 4am fighting the sweat and mood swings. One minute I'm happy, the next I'm in tears. Not always, just every now and then. To those of you who don't have a clue what I am trying to say, or wonder just what is a hot flash?

A hot flash is a momentary sensation of heat that may be accompanied by a red, flushed face and sweating. The cause of hot flashes is not known, but may be related to changes in circulation. Hot flashes occur when the blood vessels near the skin's surface dilate to cool. This produces the red, flushed look to the face. A woman may also perspire to cool down the body. In addition, some women experience a rapid heart rate or chills.Hot flashes accompanied with sweating can also occur at night. These are called night sweats and may interfere with your sleep, and my beauty sleep is crucial! A hot flush is a hot flash plus a visual appearance of redness in the face and neck. I can feel it coming on like fire ants under my skin.

How Long Will I Have Hot Flashes?

The severity and duration of hot flashes varies among women going through menopause. Some women have hot flashes for a very short time during menopause. Other women may have hot flashes  at least to some degree for life. Generally, hot flashes are less severe as time passes. So then, on that happy note I told my kids  that if this gets much worse and I can't take this up and down, hot and cold (like the Katy Perry song) anymore to just take me out in the back yard and shoot me like Old Yeller and put me out of my misery once and for all. I feel like a million bucks and don't at all feel like I am 48. Nothing can get me down, but these darn hot flashes are enough to drive me crazy.

Did you know that hot flashes are sudden waves of heat that can start in the waist or chest and work their way to the neck and face and sometimes over the rest of the body. The upper body, from the chest to the scalp may begin to sweat profusely. You may also "flush," that is, become red as you flash.
Heart rate and skin blood flow increase, although internal body temperature may drop by as much as three or four degrees as the body struggles to correct the imbalance. After the flash, the body quickly becomes chilled as it struggles to regain its normal temperature. There's no real "average" when it comes to duration. Some flashes can last 15 to 30 seconds, while others from 3 to 6 minutes. Most women who've come through Power Surge have described theirs as approximately 5 minutes, This happened to me on more than one occasion, Several actually while I was out at the clubs hunting men with the girls and literally had to clear a booth or the floor to lie down because I got so overheated that I felt like I was going to pass out. Talk about an embarrassment and a half? It was like shooting myself in the foot so to speak....Then I have to ask myself"What may wouldn't want this?" I learned that the alcohol in my bloodstream was triggering these hot flashes as was stress, As a single mother of two having raised them and put them through college solo I felt that I deserved that title of Super Mom but my body was trying to tell me something.

I've gone ahead and done my own research and this is what I found about these nasty pests that take us from cold to hot in a matter of seconds;

Can I Prevent Hot Flashes?

While it may be impossible to completely avoid hot flashes during menopause, there are certain triggers that may bring them on more frequently or cause them to be more severe. To prevent hot flashes, avoid these triggers:
  • Stress
  • Caffeine
  • Alcohol
  • Spicy foods
  • Tight clothing
  • Heat
  • Cigarette smoke
  •   Marijuana

Other things you can do to keep hot flashes at bay include:
  • Stay cool. Keep your bedroom cool at night. Use fans during the day. Wear light layers of clothes with natural fibers such as cotton.
  • Try deep, slow abdominal breathing (six to eight breaths per minute). Practice deep breathing for 15 minutes in the morning, 15 minutes in the evening and at the onset of hot flashes.
  • Exercise daily. Walking, swimming, dancing, and bicycling are all good choices.
  • Chill pillows; cooler pillows to lay head on at night might be helpful.
Talk to your doctor about taking short-term (less than five years) hormone replacement therapy or HRT. This treatment prevents hot flashes in many women. In addition, it can help other symptoms of menopause, including vaginal dryness and mood disorders. However, even short-term hormone therapy carries some risks, including blood clots and gallbladder inflammation. If HRT is not right for you, there are other treatments that may offer relief. These include both over-the-counter and prescription therapies. It is important to clear any new drugs (including over-the-counter) or supplements with your doctor before taking.
Nonprescription treatments include:
  • Vitamin B complex
  • Vitamin E
  • Ginseng
  • Ibuprofen
Prescription treatments include:
  • Catapres, Catapres-TTS, and Aldomet, blood pressure medications
  • Birth control pills
  • Antidepressants, such as Zoloft, Paxil, and Effexor
  • Other hormones, such as Provera and Megace
  • Neurontin, an anti-seizure drug
If you are experiencing what I have been going through for the past 5 or 6 years and only this past year has it become so much worse, then follow the above steps if you don't want to seek a physician's advice or if you have no health care coverage. We're all in this together gals and we need to stick together. Please comment on this article and share your hot flash story!

Maintaining Your Independence in Relationships

We all love to be in love, but none of us want to give up 100  percent of our freedom. I'm not talking about the part about not committing with your partner I am talking about not wanting to break off or lose that little bit of your independence. In today's society we work hard to make a name for ourselves whether it be personally or professionally and what we do and how we act serves as a piece of mind and we allow ourselves to make our own decisions. We have values and we respect our partner, nonetheless, we want to carry our own weight.Money,...it can't buy love., but it sure can buy our independence. My grandmother once told me to keep a nest egg for emergencies. So glad that I listened to her. It came in handy a few years back. Always plan for a rainy day whether you need it or not.

Living in a close relationship with your special someone is invigorating, exciting and fun. Maybe you've heard this described as, "when two become one." But this isn't the whole picture.
In reality, a healthy relationship is made up of two mentally strong people. They each lead independent lives and have the desire and ability share their lives as well.

These are a few of the reasons why this balance of separateness and togetherness is important:
1. Independence makes the relationship more intellectually stimulating. If each party brings his or her individual interests to the table, they'll have some fascinating and different subjects to talk about with one another.
  • Perhaps he's interested in rock climbing and she's intrigued with studying history. They can each engage their own pursuits fully, but also enjoy the other person's passion.
2. You can depend on your partner for support when you need it. If each partner is independent, each one is comfortable depending on the other when the going gets tough or when life gets hectic. A relationship is, in essence, a partnership. Knowing you can count on the other person is wonderfully supportive.
  • Having confidence that your partner can "be okay" without you while you're at work or otherwise engaged relieves you of having to worry about how your partner will manage in challenging situations.
  • Relationships do have an ebb and flow that requires that one partner lean on the other occasionally.
3. Two independent people in a relationship can mean a more balanced relationship. When you're both independent, the relationship is healthier. Nobody is exclusively relegated to a specific role.
  • When balance isn't present, one partner might take the role of "the strong one" in the relationship while the other partner is consequently "the weak one." Equilibrium in the relationship means no one partner is more or less powerful than the other.
4. Your relationship becomes stronger. When two independent people make a decision to have a relationship, their time with each other is more special and sacred. Even though a sense of independence is important for each partner, being willing to share with the other what you love to do is a great way to spend quality time together.
  • Bringing independence to your relationship promises a deeper, more lasting partnership, since it's built on acceptance of each other as a whole human being.
5. A sense of independence makes you more emotionally secure. This works for and benefits both partners.
  • If a partner is emotionally secure, they're not afraid to show their strength and their softer side at the same time.
  • Each person's sense of independence can help facilitate more openness and honesty in the partnership. No matter what you say or do, you know that your mate will ultimately be okay, since their independence already shows that they're able to take care of themselves.
  • When you come together at the end of the day, maybe one is tired or bored. The other can step in and revive the other or bring some ideas to the table.Relationships are 50/50 and both partners carry the weight. remember this and communicate and you'll build a stronger love and relationship.
  • Neither partner will feel threatened by their mate's autonomy and sense of personal strength and emotional security.
Partners in a relationship will enjoy a much deeper, longer lasting connection when they each have a sense of independence. Bringing up different interests for discussion, feeling like you can depend on the other and having a balanced relationship all stem from both parties having their own sense of autonomy. Do what feels right for you. Remember, money can pay your bills but it certainly can't buy you love.
