Getting Married? Tips on Writing Your Own Vows

This is about to be the biggest day of your life so you don't want to make a mess of it by not saying everything about this person that makes you complete. This is also one of the most stressful things to do because it can be nerve racking trying to put it all down on paper/in writing. Writing your own wedding vows can be a way to ensure that your vows express your exact sentiment. Many vows commonly used in weddings are very lovely and express your love for each other but they are usually not specific to the couple. While it is not necessary to write your own vows, many couples opt to do so in order to make sure that the vows that they recite at the wedding are meaningful to them as a couple. It is not important that you be an eloquent writer to write beautiful wedding vows. What is important though is that you write from your heart. Tell this person your inner thoughts about why you love him/her...what made you fall in love, and when you realized he/she was that 'missing piece of your puzzle' that now made your life more complete. This will ensure that your vows express your feelings adequately and in a way that your partner will understand. Be yourself and as Madonna once sang "Express Yourself!"

The first tip for writing your wedding vows is to make sure that both you and your partner are committed to reciting original vows. Many couples are not comfortable expressing something so personal in front of others. While the love that is expressed in pre-written vows is also personal, it does not leave the couple feeling so vulnerable. There are plenty of existing vows available and a couple should realize that they are free to use these existing vows and are under no obligation to write their own vows.

Once you have decided that you would like to write your own wedding vows you might want to consider whether or not you want your vows to have a theme or themes. Love is sure to be an underlying theme in any vow but you may also want to incorporate other ideas in your vows as well. Virtues of trust, understanding, friendship and honesty may be a few themes that you may want to include in your vows.

Another helpful suggestion for writing your wedding vows is to make sure the vows are written well before your wedding date. It is important not to procrastinate with writing your vows because if you put it off until the night before the wedding you are likely to become stressed out and have a great deal of difficulty writing your vows. Writing your vows well in advance of your wedding helps to eliminate stress and allows you time to really think about what you want your vows to say to your partner. What am I trying to say here? It's real simple... Don't screw around on such a big occasion sweetheart!

Writing your own wedding vows can be difficult. The most difficult part of writing your own wedding vows is just getting started. Chances are that once you get on a roll you will be able to write freely but getting started can be difficult. For this reason, you may choose to read through a number of existing vows. This will help you to get a feel for the language that is used in vows and can give you some ideas about how you want your vows to read.

An important tip for writing your wedding vows is to make sure that you have plenty of quiet time to work on your vows when you do sit down to start writing them. This may be a long arduous process and it is important to allow plenty of time to write your vows. If you know that you have an appointment in less than an hour, it’s probably not a good time to start working on your wedding vows.

Have you ever considering co-writing your vows with your partner? This is another tip for writing meaningful vows. You may choose to write your vows completely on your own to ensure that they are a surprise for your partner but you may also wish to work on your vows with your partner so that the two of you can enjoy the process of writing your vows together. This can be a wonderful opportunity to reminisce and remember the good times that you have shared.

Still another useful tip for writing your wedding vows is to avoid talking about the bad times. NEVER EVER EVER do this! While you may wish to include these to demonstrate how you and your partner have persevered and overcome many obstacles, this type of talk can be upsetting to your partner and your guests and it can ruin the day...trust me folks, not a good way to start the
Sticking to the happy memories helps to make the vows more light-hearted and does not make them any less meaningful. You may feel compelled to shorten a long drawn out vow because you feel as though it may bore those in attendance or you may feel as though you need to add onto vows that are concise but this is not necessary. Don't sweat the small stuff! This is your big day, so enjoy it and make memories!  All that truly matters is whether you think you have adequately conveyed the desired sentiment in your vows.

Another tip for writing your wedding vows is to not be afraid to use language from a song that is special to you and your partner as a couple. Chances are that the two of you enjoy a meaningful song because it is symbolic of your relationship. In this situation it is appropriate to recite a portion of the lyrics as part of your vows.

A final tip for writing original wedding vows is to first make a list of all the things that you love and admire about your partner. You might want to create this list and then set it aside for a few days before you begin writing your vows. When you are ready to start working on your wedding vows, you could read the list that you had previously written to remind you of all the wonderful characteristics your partner possess and to get you really thinking about your partner. Do You Know How to Properly Wash Your Lingerie?

Do you know how to wash your lingerie properly? With the amount of types of lingerie there are today and all the possible fabric types, it hard to say what washing style is best for all. In fact, we all have our own favorite styles and material types. Some of us like teddies where others admire the babydoll. I might like silk and satin where you might only buy rayon or polyester. Treat your lingerie always as delicate as possible. At one point there was only one kind and hand washing with a mild detergent was the best option to keep the garments body, shape, and elasticity. Now a days, it is much more difficult to know what type of lingerie requires what type a wash cycle or cannot be washed at all. It truly depends on what type of fabric and delicacy it has. Most manufactures will put the proper labels on your garment but that doesn’t mean that they will stand up to use and time using this method. Might I suggest linen garment bags to wash your lingerie in? We sell them at Simply Delicious Lingerie....

You have to remember that when you purchase a lingerie outfit or anything else the manufacturer is hoping it gets well used and therefore washed and will need quicker replacement. What company would make something that lasts forever, they would not be in business long. They bank on the fact that you will be back to by that favorite bra and panty set or teddy. At Simply Delicious Lingerie we always want you to keep coming back, but we do provide you with a great line of lingerie that is classy and moderately priced. Our lingerie doesn't fall apart.

If you are going to stick with synthetic fabrics such as Rayon and Polyester, then you would want to wash them in the delicate cycle with a fabric softener rather than detergent. Detergent can be harsh and drain the color and vibrancy out of you lingerie. This type of cycle will not use a harsh agitating rhythm to get your delicates clean. Most of these garments are delicate in the fact that they have lace, wire, padding, water, and other materials that cannot withstand extreme agitation or temperatures. Not to mention that simple factory designed stitching is not made to withstand repeated wetting and drying that makes the thread brittle and not hold the garment together. With many synthetic materials drying is not an issue. You will be able to throw your lingerie in the dryer on a cool or low heat cycle for 20 minutes and not have an issue. These types of fabrics do not lose their shape or contour with drying. They wear and wash well even in a machine cycle and can even be abused by throwing in the wash with other types of clothing. This is one of the best types of lingerie to have if you are not the kind of person who cares about what clothes go together or hate the idea of hand washing.

As common as cotton is these days, very few people know how to wash it right. Most women notice the difference in what happens to their favorite blue jeans and T-shirt. The blue jeans seem to shrink and the T-shirt seems to get shorter and fatter. It is amount of cotton in the clothing and whether it has been pre-shrunk or not that makes the difference on what cycle if any that one uses. The great thing about cotton lingerie other than its breathability is the fact that it is ultra durable. Washing cotton no matter what the percentage in warm or cold water never seems to be an issue in what the outcome will be. It is the drying that seems to hold the most damage and vulnerability to your favorite lingerie piece.

Most lingerie that has a cotton blend is at least 50% that when subjected to heat can shrink vertical wise and expand horizontally. This can be a bad thing as far as sexy is concerned. There is nothing worse than having your favorite teddy ride up in the crouch and sag and wrinkle around your mid-section. This type of lingerie is best to clean machine wash on delicate with cool or luke warm water and then hang or lay out to dry on a flat surface. If you use the fabric softener then you won’t have to worry about stiffness.

For those extremely delicate silk articles of lingerie you will want to either have them dry cleaned or for the person willing to do the job right, hand wash. If you have opted for the least expensive route then you will want to make sure you have the proper necessities. You will want to use some wool-lite or very mild detergent to make sure you don’t damage the fabric. Put the lingerie into the sink and let it soak. Gently wash with out excessively rubbing it. Rinse with luke warm water and roll into a towel and twist dry.

Put the lingerie into a second towel twist dry it some more. Never let silk air dry it will yellow if it does. To dry silk us an iron. While the lingerie is still damp go over it with a medium/hot iron. This will leave the lingerie dry and smooth and smelling fresh. Make sure you lay it out on the bed or other flat surface to cool before wearing.

Why Men Love Thigh Highs on Women

If you ask any red blooded man what they find most sexy about a woman and her appeal, he'll tell you her thigh highs or stockings. Why? Well, they love watching a woman put them on slowly and are enticed by a woman taking them off. Make sure you have on a pair of sexy stilettos too! But...what color does one wear? Ponder this ladies.... Black stockings are exclusive and classy. Red stockings have a tramp stamp. White stockings are too closely connected with innocence, purity, and marriage. Black is the color for sexy, confident, and powerful women. A woman in black stockings is an exciting challenge for any red-blooded male.

Thigh highs are made with mature, curvy women in mind, not just skinny women. Thigh high stockings are available for all body types. Don't allow anything to prevent you from getting in a thigh-high bit of fun! What are a mans favorite type of stocking?

Fishnets. Stockings whose material is a wide open woven knit are called fishnet since they resemble the net that is used to catch fish. If you want a pretty sparse stocking, a fence net is one that has large gaps in the fabric and are usually put on over a normal pair of stockings.

Fabrics. You can get thigh highs in a wide variety of materials:  nylon, silk, wool and even cashmere. How much the stocking stretches depends on what material is used. Stockings that do not stretch feel a lot different than the ones that we are used to wearing. These nylons have a softer lighter feel than regular nylons from a department-store and are also less "grippy." Stockings with visible seams. Personally, these are my favorite. Thigh highs that are seamed have the seam on the rear part of the leg. I find them quite classy.

Thigh highs can be anywhere from absolutely transparent to dark and thickly colored. You may prefer a certain degree of opaqueness. If the stocking is meant for a formal event or to go with a bejeweled gown, a completely sheer stocking with a glimmer finish will be nice.

4 Reasons why Men find them so alluring:

So SEXY!
Black stockings are sexy. They make a man think of French maids, can-can dancers, exotic performers in Paris night clubs. When a woman wears black stockings for her guy, she's sharing, and agreeing to, his secret desires.

Fabric Meets Flesh

One of the most enticing features of stockings is seeing the spot where lace at the top of the stocking meets the flesh of a woman's thigh. Black lace next to soft female skin is so desirable.

Promise of Seduction

Black stockings are a starter for the meal to come. When your woman dresses in black stockings, high heels, and an alluring outfit, you know what's going to happen later in the evening. Men love to watch their woman gently rolling stockings onto their legs. They adore the mouth-watering sight of stockings being rolled downed, lifted from the woman's toes, and dropped to the ground.

Simply Delicious to Touch

Black silk stockings are the ultimate tactile rush. For your finger tips, there is nothing better to touch and stroke than exclusive stockings on your woman's legs. What happens after you play touchy feely is up to you...
