What's for dinner he asks? Serve up dessert…Sexy and simple!

When so many women are trying to define what it is that turns their partner on, they tend to search for the right piece of women's intimate apparel when in fact, ladies, you're truly over thinking this one. Sure there are a wide mixture of ideas that we have to incorporate a sexual escapade and there are a variety of super sexy lingerie pieces we can choose to tease our partner, but when it really comes down to the nitty-gritty, men really love sexy and simple.

They don't want something that takes too long to remove. They love sexy lingerie nonetheless, a simply yet elegant and sexy bra and panty set will turn their head just as much as something erotic such as a corset that would be beautiful yes, but much too difficult for a man to slip off  of his lady.

Men like to be marveled, especially after a long hard day at the office. They are intrigued by temptation. They day dream and have naughty thoughts just like we do, only they have visuals dancing in their heads that are seducing to say the least.  Remember, foreplay is one of the sexiest and most intimate actions that a couple can have that leads up to so much more, so you want to find something to dazzle him in when he steps foot inside the door. Slip into something sexy and simple and give him that 'come-hither' look to set the mood.

With so many pieces of lingerie that you can find, it makes it difficult to read his mind in terms of knowing what he might or might not be turned on by. I can resolve this issue. When in doubt ladies, buy a sexy matching set. The bra and panty set is simple yet boasts gorgeous as it shows off your each and every curve of your beautiful torso.

A few tips; do make sure that it fits right. Don't hesitate to purchase your intimate apparel in a larger size. Wear it around the house and make certain that you are comfy in what your choice is. Choosing the right size boasts confidence because you'll feel sexy in your lingerie. Who cares what size it is as long as it fits properly. Trust me, he isn't going to be asking you to see the tags to check the size. He'll have plenty more on his mind. Select a color that you feel good in. Don't go with a color that you've never worn before or a color that meshes with your skin tone. You want it to be confident and look fabulous! You want this particular lingerie to scream "come and get me!" To dress it up, remember the thigh highs and heels.

He'll be in a fool's paradise. Set the table, light the candles, and serve him dessert first…believe me, he won't care what you've cooked for dinner, and chances are they may be his leftovers for lunch the next day. Entice him with desire. Beguile him in a sexy bra and panty set. Simply Delicious Lingerie and Bridal sells sexy lingerie online affordable prices.

Don't Forget the Bridal Petticoat!

This year oodles of women will be getting married and with so much to do preparing for the wedding, you want to make sure of two things; 1) that you find a beautiful wedding dress and 2) that you buy a good petticoat to wear underneath the bridal gown so that the dress will look as exquisite on you as it did on the mannequin that you saw it on when you chose it.

Today, many women think that buying the wedding gown alone is enough when in fact, they forget all of the little details that go along with the bridal attire. Most all women remember the bridal shoes, the bridal veil, bridal clutch, and bridal hair accessories, nonetheless, most women don't know that the dress you selected from the catalog, from an online boutique or in a store window looks fabulous and full because it is being shown with a petticoat worn underneath to give it that complete attention and alluring charm.

First you need to know the type of wedding gown that you purchased as the petticoats are made to fit your body according to the bridal dress itself. At Simply Delicious Lingerie & Bridal we carry an array of petticoats for gowns such as the A-Line gown, ball gown, the grand ball gown, otherwise known as the princess gown, the mermaid gown, the trumpet gown, short mini bridal dress or knee length bridal dress, the crinoline vintage dress, etc.

Do keep in mind ladies that it doesn't stop there. You'll need to know how many hoops you desire in the petticoat, how many layers your balmoral needs to be? This determines the desired effect of 'poof' that your gown will have, otherwise know has the fullness effect. Petticoats have been around for years and years and grew with popularity in each new decade.

The practice of wearing petticoats was established in 1585 when women began wearing them underneath their clothes for added fashion of their shapes. Worn in numerous ways since then, they have become an icon on fashion for the modern day woman when Christian Dior revived their look and functionality in 1947.

Doris Day and Grace Kelly wore petticoats in the 1950s and by the time Gone With the Wind made it big, every woman wanted to wear one. Most women wore these to give more appeal to their clothing, however many women wore them that had a big tush or large hips to shield or hide them. Could you blame them?

My first glimpse to the petticoat was in my younger childhood days when I watched 'Petticoat Junction' a 1960s television series at my grandmothers house where the opening sequence displayed three petticoats hanging out over the side of a railroad water tank where three sisters were skinny-dipping. Some women don't even know what a petticoat is when you ask them, but if you know fashion, you know petticoats.

By the mid 20th century the petticoats were being replaced by the slim fitting slip. Petticoats still are the best means (in my opinion) to give your bridal gown the desired range of fullness that it needs, so by all means please don't skimp on the petticoat when you've spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on the wedding dress itself. These two go together like peanut butter and jelly. You really shouldn't have one without the other.

On Your Wedding Day, It's All About the Dress…

From the day we are born, and from the time that we begin to dream, we girls have fairy tale visions of when we will we wed our very own prince charming. We draw pictures and we sort out the details so much so that the vision of this special day is etched in our brain and we wonder throughout our life just how it will transpire? Just like Cinderella, we're on a time clock too. We only have so much time to plan our fairy tale wedding.

So much goes into planning for a wedding…what to choose, where to wed, who to invite, or not to invite, who to ask to be in the wedding party, what colors to choose, themes, what flowers to order, what kind of cake, will it be a sit down dinner or a buffet style reception, open bar or no bar? Where will the honeymoon be? What will I pack? How much money will we need? All of these are quite important, but not as important as it is to find the perfect wedding dress.

In my personal opinion, your bridal gown is the most important part of the wedding. How will it fit? How will it flow? Will it be long or knee length? Will it be slim fitting or layered? Will it have beads and sequins? Will there be ruffles and bows? How long should the the train be? Will I wear a veil? No one knows…but you will.

The problem with so many weddings is that not only can they get out of hand but many women are on such tight budgets and as we all very well know…with budgets come sacrifices. Believe me, I know about this all too well. At age 19, I planned my own wedding in six weeks. My problem was that my parents accommodated me so much as to how I wanted my special day that it almost seemed too perfect. I was so busy worrying about churches, and banquet halls, bridesmaids and groomsmen, flowers, the cake, the DJ and all I forgot about the most important thing, the gown. Meanwhile, my parents came to me and said the one thing that no bride ever wants to hear…"Honey, you'll have to borrow someone else's wedding dress to wear, our budget is tapped out!" I was that bride that would never know what it would be like to save my dress and pull it out of a box 30 years later for my daughter to wear, or to just go into my attic or closet and relic over it.

Let's speed ahead 30+ years. Today things are really out of hand with weddings. Myself, I don't believe in choosing a specific designer nor can every woman afford it. I personally believe in choosing a wedding dress based on the 'wow' factor and not the designer. My guess is that 95% of your guests will not know if the bridal gown you walk down the aisle in is designer or not. It should be everything that you've imagined yet at a price that is reasonable.

With the average cost of a wedding in 2014 being just a little shy of $29K the average price spent on a wedding dress was $1211. Manhattan brides spent on average and at the lower end $2877 and women in Idaho averaged $878. Meanwhile, the average cost of a high school prom has risen to an average of $1139, that is 40% higher than just in 2011. Apples for apples what does this mean exactly? It means that young women are spending more on a dress and the prom than some women spend on bridal gowns. Here's my 2 cents…Your wedding day is far more important in my opinion than a night at the prom with some guy that you'll probably forget by your freshman year of college.
